Formation of a MENA branch of IDGTE
It was a pleasure to meet with you, Said Mazigh and Yassine Messaoud in
London on the 9th and 10th of March.
IDGTE is greatly encouraged by your initiative to form a branch in the MENA
region and to hear of the progress that has been achieved. The membership
applications for the first Tunisian members were approval at the Council
meeting that took place on 17th March and this provides the foundation
upon which to build the branch. Also, Council approved the formation of the
branch by passing the following resolution:
Council notes the developments and meetings that have taken place
regarding the formation of an IDGTE branch in the Middle East and
North Africa region and, in accordance with Rules 9.1 – 9.6, approves,
in principle, the formation of a MENA branch by Said Mazigh, Yassine
Messaoud and Constantin Haddad said branch to be managed by a
local committee of Said Mazigh, Yassine Messaoud and Constantin
Haddad and their successors in accordance with IDGTE Rules.
In order that you can process an application for permission to form the
branch with the Tunisian authorities, I attach the following information:
Copy of IDGTE Rules
Copy of IDGTE Articles of Association and letter of company registration.
Copy of letter of registration as a charity
Copy of licence from Engineering Council
