1 - ORGANIZZAZIONE
Le regate saranno organizzate dal Comune di Monte
Argentario, dall’Associazione Italiana Vele d’Epoca, dallo Yacht Club Santo Stefano e dall’Argentario Approdi
e con il patrocinio del C.I.M.- Comitato Internazionale
del Mediterraneo.
2 – PROGRAMMA

Giovedì 19 giugno: regate
(prima partenza alle ore 11,00)
Venerdì 20 giugno: regate
Sabato 21 giugno: regate
Domenica 22 giugno: parata e regata.
3 - AMMISSIONE
Saranno ammessi alla “Argentario Sailing Week 2008
– Trofeo Panerai”:
gli yachts in legno o in metallo di costruzione anteriore al
1950 (yachts d’epoca) e al 1976 (yachts classici), nonché
le loro repliche individuabili secondo il “Regolamento
per la stazza e le regate degli Yachts d’Epoca e Classici
- C.I.M. 2006-2009 e sue modificazioni”
gli yachts delle classi della Stazza Internazionale e della
Stazza Universale e monotipi
gli yachts della categoria Spirit of Tradition, invitati dal Comitato organizzatore e a insindacabile giudizio della Commissione tecnica del C.I.M. muniti dei necessari requisiti
4 - ISCRIZIONI
Le iscrizioni dovranno pervenire entro il giorno 31 maggio 2008 alla segreteria del raduno, presso lo Yacht Club

it). Esse dovranno essere fatte sull’allegato modulo, inviate per posta e accompagnate dalla tassa di iscrizione.
Iscrizioni tardive potranno essere eventualmente accettate,
ma in tal caso l’ormeggio in banchina non sarà garantito.
Al più tardi entro le ore 16,00 del giorno 18 giugno le iscrizioni dovranno essere completate con la consegna alla segreteria del raduno dei seguenti documenti:

1 - ORGANISATION
Les régates seront organisées par la Municipalité de
Monte Argentario, l’Associazione Italiana Vele d’Epoca,
le Yacht Club Santo Stefano et l’Argentario Approdi sous
le parrainage du C.I.M. - Comité International de la
Méditerranée.
2 – PROGRAMME
Mercredi 18 juin: accueil, et inscriptions
Jeudi 19 juin: régates (premier départ à 11h 00)
Vendredi 20 juin: régates
Samedi 21 juin: régates
Dimanche 22 Juin: parade et régate
3 - ADMISSION
La “Argentario Sailing Week 2008 – Trophée Panerai” est
ouverte à:
les yachts en bois ou en métal construits avant le 1950
(yachts d’époque) et le 1976 (yachts classiques) ainsi que
leur répliques identifiées selon le “Réglement pour la jauge et les courses des yachts d’époque et classiques C.I.M.
2006-2009” et ses modifications
les yachts des classes de la Jauge Internationale et de la
Jauge Universelle et monotypes
les yachts de la catégorie Spirit of Tradition, invités par le
Comité d’organisation, ayants les qualités requises par la
Commission technique du C.I.M.
4 - INSCRIPTIONS
Les inscription devront parvenir avant le 31 mai 2008
au secrétariat de l’organisation, chez Yacht Club Santo

it). Elles devront parvenir par lettre en utilisant la fiche
d’inscription ci-jointe et être accompagnées par les frais
d’inscription. Inscriptions tardives pourrons être éventuellement acceptées, mais en telle éventualité la place au
port ne pourra pas être garantie.
Avant 16h00 du 18 juin les dossiers d’inscription devront
être complétés avec la remise au secrétariat de l’organisation des documents suivants

The races will be organized by the Monte Argentario
Municipality, the Associazione Italiana Vele d’Epoca, the
Yacht Club Santo Stefano and the Argentario Approdi
under the aegis of C.I.M. – Comité International de la
Méditerranée.
2 - SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

3 - ELIGIBILITY
The Argentario Sailing Week 2008 – Panerai Trophy is
open to :
all sailing yachts with wood or metal construction, built
prior to 1950 (vintage yachts) and 1976 (classic yachts)
or to their replicas as defined in the “C.I.M. Rules for
the Rating and the Racing of Vintage and Classic Yachts
2006-2009” and its modifications
Yachts of the International Rule and of the Universal
Rule classes and One Designs
Yachts of the Spirit of Tradition category, invited by the
Organising Committee and corresponding to the criterions settled by C.I.M. Technical Committee.
4 – ENTRIES
Entries must be mailed, on the enclosed entry form, to
the Argentario Sailing Week secretariat, c/o Yacht Club
Santo Stefano, strada provinciale 161 n. 18, I-58019
Porto Santo Stefano GR (Italy), tel. +39 0564 814002,
fax +39 0564 810202, e-mail: [email protected]. Entry forms
must be received not later than 31st May 2008 and must
be accompanied by the appropriate entry fee. The Organising Committee reserves the right to accept late entries
but without granting mooring space.
Within 4pm of the 18th June all participants must complete the entry by delivering to the Race secretariat:

La tassa di iscrizione é fissata in:
€ 200 per yachts con lunghezza fuori tutto inferiore a m. 12
€ 300 per yachts con lunghezza fuori tutto superiore a
m. 12 e inferiore a m. 16
€ 450 per yachts con lunghezza fuori tutto superiore a
m. 16 e inferiore a m. 25
€ 550 per yachts con lunghezza fuori tutto superiore a m. 25
La tassa di iscrizione è comprensiva dei costi di ormeggio
per i giorni 18-22 giugno.
Per i soci dall’A.I.V.E. la tassa d’iscrizione è ridotta del 20%
5 - REGOLAMENTI
Le regate saranno disputate applicando:
il Regolamento di Regata ISAF 2005-2008
il Regolamento per la stazza e le regate degli Yachts d’Epoca e Classici – C.I.M. 2006-2009 e le sue modificazioni
il presente Bando di Regata
le Istruzioni di Regata.
6 - PUBBLICITÀ E TIPO DELLE REGATE
Non è permessa nessuna forma di pubblicità non solo
in regata, ma anche durante la permanenza degli yachts
all’ormeggio e nel corso della navigazione per raggiungere
e per lasciare il campo di gara.
Ai sensi del “Regolamento C.I.M.” le regate saranno di
tipo C.
7 - PERCORSI
I percorsi saranno definiti nelle Istruzioni di regata.
8 - ISTRUZIONI DI REGATA
Le Istruzioni di regata saranno disponibili presso la
segreteria del raduno dalle ore 16,00 del 18 giugno.
9 - CERTIFICATI DI STAZZA
Gli yachts d’epoca e classici che fossero privi di un certificato di stazza C.I.M. valido per il 2008, dovranno farne
richiesta all’A.I.V.E. entro il 20 maggio. In tal caso saranno loro tempestivamente indicate le norme, le località e
le giornate per le necessarie visite e misurazioni.

Frais d’inscription:
€ 200 pour les yachts avec longueur de la coque inférieure à 12 mètres
€ 300 pour les yachts avec longueur de la coque supérieure à 12 et inférieure à 16 mètres
€ 450 pour les yachts avec longueur de la coque supérieure à 16 et inférieure à 25 mètres
€ 550 pour les yachts avec longueur de la coque supérieure à 25 mètres
Le montant des droits d’inscription comprend les frais de
la place au port à partir du 18 au 22 Juin.
Pour les associés de l’A.I.V.E. les frais d’inscription
seront réduits de 20%.
5 - RÈGLEMENTATION
Les régates seront régies par:
les Règles de Course de l’ ISAF 2005-2008
le Règlement pour la jauge et pour les courses des yachts d’époque et classiques, C.I.M. 2006-2009 et ses modifications

les Instruction de Course
En cas de conflit d’interprétation, le texte italien prévale
the crew list with with the F.I.V. cards for the Italian
citizens and of the corresponding documents issued by
the respective national sailing authorities for the foreign
citizens
the rating certificate (or its copy) issued by the C.I.M.
for vintage and classic yachts or by the IRC for the yachts
of the Spirit of Tradition category
the declaration of the sails which will be used in the
races
the insurance certificate (or a substitute declaration) in
which must be stated that the insurance coverage is valid
and that the coverage is not lower than € 1.036.000
Entry fees are :
yachts less than 12 m. hull length € 200
yachts 12 m. to 16 m. hull length inclusive € 300
yachts 16 m. to 25 m. hull length inclusive € 450
yachts over 25 m. hull length € 550
Entry fee includes mooring costs for the days from June
18 to 22.
For A.I.V.E. members the entry fees will be reduced by
20%.
5 - RULES
The races will be governed by:
ISAF Racing Rules of Sailing for 2005 – 2008
the “Rules for the Rating and the Racing of Vintage and
Classic Yachts, C.I.M. 2006-2009” and its modifications
this Notice of Race
the Sailing Instructions
In case of conflict, the Italian text will prevail on the English one.
6 – PUBLICITY AND TYPE OF RACES
6 – PUBLICITÉ ET TYPE DES REGATES
Toute forme de publicité est interdite; la probibition sera en vigueur pendant la permanence des yachts au mouillage aussi que
en cours de navigation pour rejoindre ou laisser le plan d’eau.
Selon le “Règlement C.I.M.” les régates seront de type C.
7 – PARCOURS
Les parcours seront définis dans les Instructions de course.
8 - INSTRUCTIONS DE COURSE
Les Instructions de Course seront à dispositions des concurrents chez le secrétariat de course à partir de 16h 00 du 18 Juin.
9 – CERTIFICATS DE JAUGE
Les yachts d’époque et classiques n’ayant pas un certificat
de jauge C.I.M. valable pour 2008 devront en faire demande à l’A.I.V.E. (Associazione Italiana Vele d’Epoca)
avant le 20 mai.
En cette éventualité, ils seront informés sur les normes,
le lieu et les dates pour la visite et les mesures de jauge.
No publicity is allowed.
The probibition is extended to the whole duration of the
event and all yachts will have to comply with it either at
their mooring place either when reaching or leaving the
race course.
According to the “C.I.M. Rules” the regattas are classed as
type C.
7 – COURSES
Courses will be defined in the Sailing instructions.
8 - SAILING INSTRUCTIONS
Sailing Instructions will be available at the Race Office
from 4.0 p.m. on June 18.
9 - RATING CERTIFICATES
Vintage and classic yachts having not a valid C.I.M. rating certificate, must apply for it within 20th May 2008,
comply to the related dispositions, namely to the inspection visit of the A.I.V.E.
10 – SUDDIVISIONE DEGLI YACHTS
Giusta il “Regolamento C.I.M.” gli yacht saranno suddivisi nelle seguenti categorie:
Yachts d’Epoca
Yachts Classici
Yachts Spirit of Tradition
Gli yacht delle due prime categorie saranno ulteriormente suddivisi in classi secondo l’articolo 17 del citato Regolamento C.I.M..
Con eccezione di quella degli Spirit of Tradition, le categorie con meno di tre iscritti saranno riunite alle altre.

SAILING WEEK 2008
11 – TEMPI COMPENSATI E CLASSIFICHE
Il tempo compensato di ogni yacht sarà per ciascuna prova calcolato secondo le norme del “Regolamento C.I.M.”
e le classifiche saranno fatte per ognuna delle categorie e
delle classi nelle quali saranno stati suddivisi gli yacht.
Il punteggio sarà per tutti quello minimo.
12 - PREMI
Saranno premiati i primi tre di ognuna delle classifiche
finali e vi saranno premi di giornata.
Allo yacht che si sarà distinto tra tutti per lo stile agonistico e marinaresco sarà conferita la Coppa CIM.
13 - PREMIAZIONE
La premiazione avrà luogo domenica 18 giugno ad ora
che sarà indicata con comunicato.
14 - ORMEGGI
Gli yacht saranno ormeggiati negli spazi messi a disposizione dal Comune di Monte Argentario e dalla Argentario Approdi in località Pilarella ed eventualmente anche
in altra banchina di Porto Santo Stefano.
15 – CONFORMITÀ ALLE NORME
Tutti gli yacht devono essere muniti dei documenti di navigazione ed essere in regola con le dotazioni di sicurezza,
secondo quanto stabilito dalle rispettive autorità marittime nazionali.
Con l’iscrizione ogni yacht si sottomette alla regola 4 del
Regolamento ISAF ed all’articolo 26 del “Regolamento
C.I.M.”, che dichiara di conoscere pienamente.
10 – CATÉGORIES ET CLASSES
Selon le “Règlement C.I.M.” les yachts seront divisés
dans les catégories suivantes:
Yachts d’Époque
Yachts Classiques
Yachts Spirit of Tradition
Les deux premières catégories pourront encore être divisées en classes selon l’article 17 du Règlement C.I.M..
À l’exception de celle des yachts Spirit of Tradition, les
catégories avec moins de trois inscrits seront réunies aux
autres.
11 – TEMPS COMPENSES ET CLASSES
Les classements seront établis en temps compensé pour
chacune des catégories et des classes selon les quelles les
yachts auront été divisés. Le temps compensé sera calculé
selon le “Règlement C.I.M.”.
Le système de pointage minimum sera adopté.
12 – PRIX
Les prix seront accordés aux trois meilleurs placements
dans le classement final de chaque classe et seront aussi
accordés prix de journée.
Au bateau qui se sera distingué sur tous par son style agonistique et matelotesque sera donnée la coupe
CIM.
13 – REMISE DES PRIX
La Remise des prix aura lieu le dimanche 22 juin à l’heure
qui sera indiquée dans un communiqué.
14 – PLACES AU PORT
Les yachts inscrits seront amarrés dans le port de la Pilarella ou éventuellement aussi dans autre mouillage de
Porto Santo Stefano, mis à disposition gratuitement par la
Municipalité de l’Argentario et par l’Argentario Approdi.
15 – CONFORMITÉ AUX RÈGLES
Tous les yachts devront être en bonne et due forme avec les
documents de navigation et avec les règles d’armement et
de sécurité des respectives autorités maritimes nationales.
Avec l’inscription chaque yacht est soumis à la règle 4 du
Règlement ISAF et à l’article 26 du “Règlement C.I.M.”
que déclare de connaître en détail.
10 – CATEGORIES AND CLASSES
According to the C.I.M. Rules yachts will be subdivided
in the following categories :
Vintage yachts
Classic yachts
Spirit of Tradition
The yachts of the two first categories could be divided in
different classes according to the article 17 of the C.I.M.
Rules.
With the exception of Spirit of Tradition one, the categories with less than three entered yachts will be grouped to
the others.
11 – CORRECTED TIME AND SCORING
A result on corrected time will be given for each class.
The corrected time of each yacht will be calculated according to the CIM Rules.
Low-point scoring system will be used.
12 - PRIZES
Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd yacht in the final
scoring in each class and will be awarded day’s prizes.
The yacht that will distinguish itself amid all the
others by its agonistic and seafaring style will receive
the CIM Cup.
13 – PRIZE GIVING
The prize giving will happen on Sunday, 22nd June; the
hour will be communicated by posting a note on the
official board.
14 - MOORINGS
Yachts will be hosted by Argentario Municipality and Argentario Approdi at Pilarella mooring and, if necessary, at
an other Porto Santo Stefano mooring.
15 - RESPONSABILITY
All yachts must be supplied with the prescribed documents and navigation licenses and must be in possess of
the safety equipment, foreseen by the national laws of
pertinence.
By signing the Entry form each yacht undergoes to the
ISAF rule 4 and to the C.I.M. Rules article 26 which
declares to know.
