Dear members of the FMJD,
With this e-mail we send you information about the Extraordinary General Assembly
in August 2012.
The Assembly will be held in the Grand Palace in Lille, France on August 19, 2012
during the World Mind Sports Games.
In the calendar of the World Mind Sports Games August 19 is a free day after the
main tournament and before the World Championships rapid and blitz.
The statutes and bye laws documents are presented in such a way that you can see the
articles of the statutes plus the proposed amendments from the sections, the
federations and the suggestions of the Executive Board together on the same page.
The final agenda will be sent in the last week of July, because the candidature for
positions in the Council is still open until July 15. See also the letter sent to you 4
weeks ago.
Because this General Assembly is not organized by the French federation the FMJD
has made the following arrangements: all members of the Executive Board who
participate in the meeting and all members of the FMJD who participate in the
meeting and who are fully up-to-date with their financial obligations towards the
FMJD will receive 120 Euro for their costs for stay and food, for one delegate per
federation.
The members of the Executive Board and the members of the FMJD have to take
care themselves of reserving a hotel room in Lille.
A list of hotels preferred by IMSA, all in close proximity to the meeting venue, may
be found on the IMSA website of the World Mind Sports Games at

There are also many other hotels in Lille close to the Grand Palace (“Grand Palais”).

You did already receive the comments of the section 64 and checkers.
All documents are in English.
It would be good for the federations if the documents could also be available in French and Russian. Which
federations are willing to give us support and create the translated versions, especially of the documents with
statutes and bye laws plus amendments ?
I want to draw your attention to the fact that the current FMJD statutes and bye laws have the following
introductory text:
Each federation has the duty to provide his members with these statutes, bye-laws, regulations and updates,
systematically or on demand, eventually translated in her proper language.
If a federation is willing to make the translations for themselves and would be willing to send a copy to the
FMJD for the other federations the FMJD would be grateful.
To avoid many Russian and French versions by all Russian and French speaking federations, please contact the
FMJD bureau, Johan Bastiaannet, to know whether another federation has already offered to make the
translations.
If the federations are not able to make these translations or not willing to distribute them among their colleague
federations, the FMJD will make an internet translation of the document and distribute them at the end of July.

Dans le calendrier des Jeux Mondiaux Mind Sports le 19 août est une journée libre après le
tournoi principal et avant les Championnats du Monde blitz et rapide.
Les documents avec les Statuts et le Règlement Intérieur sont présentés de telle manière que
vous pouvez voir les articles des Statuts ainsi que les amendements proposés par les
sections, les fédérations et les suggestions du Conseil Exécutif ainsi que sur la même page.
L'ordre du jour définitif sera envoyé dans la dernière semaine de juillet, parce que la
candidature pour les postes au sein du Conseil est encore ouverte jusqu'au 15 juillet.

Parce que cette Assemblée Générale n’est pas organisée par la fédération française la FMJD a
pris les dispositions suivantes: tous les membres du Conseil Exécutif qui participent à la
réunion et tous les membres de la FMJD qui participent à la réunion et qui sont entièrement
mis à jour avec leurs obligations financières envers la FMJD recevront 120 euros pour leurs
frais de séjour et de nourriture, d'un délégué par fédération.
Les membres du Conseil Exécutif et les membres de la FMJD doivent prendre eux-mêmes soin
de réserver une chambre d'hôtel à Lille. Une liste d'hôtels préférés par l'IMSA, le tout à
proximité de la salle de réunion, peut être consultée sur le site des Jeux IMSA Mind Sports

Quelles fédérations sont prêts à nous soutenir et de créer des versions traduites, en particulier
des documents avec des Statuts et Règlement Intérieur ainsi que des amendements?
Je tiens à attirer votre attention sur le fait que les statuts actuels FMJD ont le texte introductif
suivant:
Chaque fédération a le devoir de fournir à ses membres avec ces lois, arrêtés, règlements et
lois mises à jour, systématiquement ou sur demande, éventuellement traduits dans sa langue
propre.
Si une fédération est prête à faire des traductions pour eux-mêmes et sera prête à envoyer une
copie à la FMJD pour les autres fédérations, la FMJD en sera reconnaissante.
Pour éviter de nombreuses versions russes et françaises par toutes les fédérations qui parlent
russe et français, s'il vous plaît communiquer avec le bureau FMJD, Johan Bastiaannet, de
savoir si une autre fédération a déjà proposé de faire les traductions.
Si les fédérations ne sont pas en mesure de faire ces traductions ou ne veulent pas de les
répartir entre leurs fédérations collègue, la FMJD fera une traduction sur Internet du document
et de les distribuer à la fin de juillet.
