Je me lance dans cette profession suivant une
carrière fournie en affaires de plus de 15
années. J’ai complété mon baccalauréat en
traduction au printemps 2011.
En plus d’avoir acquis l’outil d’assistance à la
traduction Trados, j’ai une généreuse
expérience de vie dans plusieurs domaines
variant de l’administration, à la fabrication,
jusqu’à l’inspection de Formule 1.
I am just starting out after a well-rounded
business career of more than 15 years. I
completed my bachelor degree in translation in
the spring of 2011.
Beyond acquiring Trados as a CAT tool, I have
a generous amount of life experience in a
variety of fields ranging from administration, to
manufacturing, all the way to Formula 1
inspections.

Traduction hautement spécialisée : $0.25/mot
My rates are:
General or technical translation: $0.18/word
Highly specialized translation: $0.25/word

Traduction générale ou technique : $0.07/mot
Traduction hautement spécialisée : $0.11/mot
Proofreading rates:
General or technical translation $0.07/word
Highly specialized $0.11/word
Tarif horaire : 30.00$/heure
Hourly rates: 30.00$/hour
Tarifs en dollars canadiens. La facturation
minimum est de 45$ par projet, quel que soit le
volume. Les tarifs sont négociables pour les
projets particuliers ou remarquablement
spécialisés.
Les services de traduction comprennent la
relecture à la suite de la mise en page
principale.
All rates are in Canadian dollar. A minimum
flat rate of $45,00 applies to any new single
project. Fees are subject to negotiation for
particularly easy or remarkably difficult
translation projects.
Proofreading after main publishing is included
within the translation services.
Les logiciels d'aide à la traduction, tels que
Trados, permettent de réduire la quantité de
travail pour certains types de textes,
notamment en traduction technique et de
logiciels. Le coût est alors calculé en fonction
du volume de textes traduits que le client peut
fournir, ou encore selon le nombre de
répétitions à l'intérieur d'un nouveau projet.

* CAT tools, such as Trados, allow reduced
translation time for some types of material,
namely technical documentation and software.
Cost is then based on a volume of previously
translated text that is supplied by the client, or
on the amount of reoccurring content in a new
project.
