Based in Calgary, Bruce primarily focuses his practice on all areas of insurance, including insurance corporate / regulatory law, products liability, transportation, and oil & gas litigation. He is also involved in our Team North initiative. He has appeared before the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta, the Alberta and British Columbia Courts of Appeal, the Supreme Court of Yukon, and the Federal Court of Canada. He has also acted as a mediator in a number of mediations, and has completed the Advanced Mediation Civil Litigation program delivered by the Continuing Legal Education Society of British Columbia. He is also a coordinator of the Child Advocacy Pro Bono Project (a Joint Initiative of BLG, the Children’s Legal Education Resource Centre, and Pro Bono Law Alberta) and a past chair of the Volunteer Lawyers’ Service.
