Born in Brussels in 1978, Chrystl Fischer studied fashion design at La Cambre in Brussels and at l'Institut Français de
la Mode in Paris, from 1997 to 2003. Meanwhile, she experienced working with international designers based in New
York, such as Pierrot, Isabel Toledo and John Bartlett.
After participating to the Festival d'Hyeres in 2003 and graduating the same year, she starts working as one of Jose
Enrique Ona Selfa assistant designer at LOEWE in Madrid, beginning of 2004. She worked as a freelance knitwear
designer for LOEWE during 3 years and for KARL LAGERFELD during 2 years.
Her passion for knitwear emerged really early in her work. Starting playing with just a single yarn and than giving
birth to a 3D piece. Like an architect, she constructs volumes, shapes and graphism around the feminine body. With
this knitting passion going on, she decided to launch her first knitwear collection, LES INSEPARABLES DE FISCHER in
Winter 2006.
