6½-month Business Development Internship in Paris with International Accounting Firm
Company Description:
Maupard Fiduciaire is an international accounting firm, founded in 1986, which facilitates the growth
and business development of start-ups and small-sized companies in France through bookkeeping,
payroll, legal support and auditing. We are based in the heart of Paris’ business district in the 8th
arrondissement, a stone’s throw from the Champs-Elysées.
We are looking for:
An English-speaking Business Development intern, starting mid-February 2016, finishing at the end of
August 2016.
Your Profile:
A native English speaker studying French who is motivated to improve their level of French in a
business environment. A demonstrated interest in finance, accounting and international business
would be desirable.
The role would include, but is not limited to:
1) Managing client dossiers, including registering clients for tax purposes and creating fee
proposals.
2) Researching clients’ tax queries in French legislation.
3) Identifying and attracting prospective clients and subsequently selling our services to them.
4) Assisting the team with English-speaking communications: translations, helping with emails,
meetings, phone calls etc.

Strong interest in pursuing a career in business
Student motivated to improve their French (spoken, written, and in translation)
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Duration:
6½ months. For the first month you will be trained for the role by the outgoing business developer. In
your final month you will be required to train the next business developer.
Compensation:
Monthly allowance of €505.30, including 50% transportation reimbursement. You will also receive 18
restaurant vouchers at a value of €8 each, amounting to a total remuneration package of €649.30.
