PRESENTATION SKILLS TRAINING
PARTICIPANTS:
Middle or management level employees who wish to improve their
presentation skills within the professional environment; in order to prepare for
a senior managerial position (must have a good working knowledge of English
and PowerPoint)
OBJECTIVES:

Provide attendees with the skills necessary to improve their presentation
capabilities, to any and all audiences
Improve attendees ability to construct a presentation that effectively
communicates their message

A Strong Introduction
a. How to construct a strong opening
b. Participants have an opportunity to construct an introduction, in
anticipation of video practice #1
Video Practice #1 (Strong Introduction)
a. Participants will have the opportunity to provide a 60 second
introduction of themselves and the topic of their presentation, while
being videoed
b. After video practice #1, participants will be allotted time to watch
their video and receive feedback
The Body of a Presentation
a. How to transition from the introduction to the body
b. Ingredients to an effective presentation body
c. How to limit the information provided to ensure the message is clear
Video Practice #2 (Introduction and Body)
a. Participants will have the opportunity to provide a 10 minute
presentation on the topic of their choice, while on video
b. After video practice #2, participants will be allotted time to watch
their video and receive feedback

a. Participants will have a final opportunity to provide their 10 minute
presentation, while utilizing all of the instructional information they
have acquired
b. After video practice #3, participants will be allotted time to watch
their video and receive feedback
IX. Final Thoughts and Comments
a. Participants will have the opportunity to ask any final questions and
will be asked to provide feedback on their experience in the training
