HISTORIQUE OPÉRATIONNEL
The Second World War
The original squadron trained staff pilots for bombing
and gunnery schools, and then provided refresher
training to student pilots. 6 1 Composite
Detachment/Squadron served on target towing,
communications and air-sea rescue duties under
'Eastern Air Command'.7
Seconde Guerre mondiale
L'escadron original a formé des pilotes d'état-major
pour les écoles de bombardement et de tir et a fourni
ensuite de l'entraînement aux élèves-pilotes pour le
maintien des compétences de vol.6 Le 1 Composite
Detachment/Squadron a servi au remorquage des
cibles, les communications et au service de sauvetage
maritime sous le « Eastern Air Command ».7
