Path-leading organisation recognizes HITEC Luxembourg’s achievements in
European Public Safety Communications
Harold LINKE, Manager Research & Technology Projects of HITEC Luxembourg, takes over
Presidency of the Public Safety Communication Europe (PSCE)
Luxembourg, 05 June 2014: The Public Safety Communication Europe Forum (PSCE) held its bi-annual
conference in Gothenburg, Sweden on 20 and 21 May 2014. PSCE is a permanent autonomous
organization aiming at improving provision of public safety communications and information
management systems and the safety of the citizens during crisis and emergency situations. It
constitutes a unique common platform for researchers, industry and users, thus enabling regular
exchange of ideas, information, experiences and best practices. The organization represents 56 key
international private and public entities active in the public safety area and provides advice to the
European Commission and the European Parliament.
At its May conference, the HITEC Luxembourg representative, Mr. Harold Linke, Manager Research &
Technology Projects, was elected as chair of the PSCE Industry Committee. As chairperson of the
committee, he is also a member of the PSCE board. In this function, Harold Linke will take over
rotationally for the duration of one year effective 1st June 2014, the presidency of the PSCE Forum.

Luxembourg, le 05 juin 2014: Lors de la dernière Conférence PSCE tenue les 20 et 21 mai 2014 à
Göteborg, en Suède, les comités du PSCE ont élu M. Harold Linke, responsable "Recherche &
Technologie", président du comité pour l'industrie.
Le PSCE, Public Safety Communication Europe Forum (Communication en Sécurité publique Europe),
est un organisme autonome permanent visant à améliorer la fourniture de communications de
sécurité publique, de système de gestion de l'information et de sécurité des citoyens lors de situations
de crise ou d'urgence. L'organisation regroupe les 56 principales entités publiques et privées
internationales prépondérantes dans le domaine de la sécurité publique. De ce fait, ce forum fournit
une plate-forme commune, unique pour les chercheurs, l'industrie et les utilisateurs permettant
l'échange régulier d'idées, d'informations, d'expériences et de meilleures pratiques.
Le Forum PSCE est géré et dirigé par un conseil d'administration comprenant au moins quatre
membres. L'Office regroupe tous les pouvoirs de gestion et d'administration. Comme président du
conseil d'administration, Harold Linke aura à son tour et pour un an à partir du 1er Juin 2014, la
présidence du Forum PSCE.

Auf der Konferenz in Göteborg wurde der Repräsentant von HITEC Luxembourg, Herr Harold Linke,
Manager Research & Technology Projects, zum Vorsitzenden des PSCE-Industrieausschusses gewählt.
In dieser Funktion ist er Mitglied des PSCE Vorstandes. Harold Linke hat damit seit 1. Juni 2014
turnusgemäss die Präsidentschaft des PSCE Forums für die Dauer eines Jahres übernommen.
