Das IDE CF Carddrive 3,5’’ RoHS ist ein Kartenkaufwerk, welches an die IDESchnittstelle angeschlossen wird. Das Laufwerk unterstützt CompactFlash Karten Typ
I und Typ II sowie Microdrive. Das IDE CF Carddrive konvertiert automatisch den
50 Pin ATA-Modus der CompactFlash-Karte auf einen 40-poligen IDE-Anschluss.
Im Bios erscheint das Laufwerk bei gesteckter CompactFlash Karte direkt
als IDE-Laufwerke.
Das IDE CF Carddrive 3,5’’ RoHS hat die gleiche Größe wie eine 3,5’’
Diskettenlaufwerk und kann ohne viel Aufwand frontseitig in den Computer
eingebaut werden, wodurch man einen einfachen Zugriff auf das Laufwerk hat.
Installation
1.
Schalten Sie den Computer aus.
2.
Entfernen Sie das Gehäuse von Ihrem Computer.
3.
Entfernen Sie die Frontplatte des für das Laufwerk vorgesehenen
3,5’’ Schachtes.
4.
Schieben Sie das IDE CF Carddrive 3.5’’ RoHS in den freien 3,5’’ Schacht
und befestigen sie es dann mit den beiliegenden Schrauben.
5.
Schließen Sie ein 40-poligen IDE-Kabel an das IDE CF Carddrive an und
verbinden Sie dieses dann mit dem Mainboard des Rechners.
Die rote Ader des IDE-Kabels muss dabei sowohl auf dem Mainboard
wie auch am Carddrive an Pin 1 (eins) angeschlossen werden.
6.
Verbinden Sie ein Netzkabel von Ihrem Computer Netzteil mit dem
Netzanschluss des IDE-Laufwerkes. Aufgrund der Form des Netzsteckers
ist es nicht möglich, diesen falsch anzuschließen.
7.
Schließen Sie das Gehäuse des Computers.
8.
Die Installation eines Treibers ist nicht erforderlich.
Hinweis
1.
Das IDE-Laufwerk unterstützt keine CF-Adapter und I/O Karten.
Diese Karten sind nicht kompatibel mit dem ATA & ATAPI Protokoll.

Das IDE CF Carddrive 3.5’’ RoHS unterstützt kein Hot-Swap.
Schalten Sie den Rechner aus, bevor Sie eine CompactFlash-Karte
einstecken oder entfernen.

Introduction
The IDE CF Carddrive 3.5’’ RoHS is an IDE interface card drive in one inch height. Just
connect IDE drive to a personal computer with an IDE controller, the card drive then
support Compact Flash Type I & Type II (Micro Drive). The card drive automatically
sets the 50 pins ATA mode of CompactFlash Card connect a 40-pin IDE connector
allowing the system Bios to access the card directly as an IDE drives.
The IDE CF Carddrive 3.5’’ RoHS is the same size as a 3.5’’ floppy disk drive so it can
be mounted on the front of a Computer's case. This gives you convenient access to the
drive, installation is easy - simply mount the drive in a free 3.5" drive mount on the
front of the computer, connect he IDE cable and then connect the standard power cable
from your computer's power supply to the power connector at the rear of the drive.
Installation steps:
1.
Turn off your computer.
2.
Remove the case from your computer.
3.
Remove the protect faceplate that covers a free 3.5’’ disk drive bay in your
computer.
4.
Insert the IDE CF Carddrive 3.5’’ RoHS in to the computer's 3.5’’ disk drive
bay and secure the drive by affixing fours screws to the bay's rails.
5.
Connect a specific 40-pin IDE cable from the ATA to IDE drive's IDE
connector and then to the IDE connector on the mainboard. Make sure that
the cable's red edge is connected to pin 1 on each of the connectors.
6.
Connect a power cable from your computer's power supply to the power
connector on the ATA to IDE drive. Owing to the shape of the cable and
connector, it is impossible to plug in this cable incorrectly.
7.
Replace the case on your computer.
8.
A driver installation is not required.

IDE drives didn't support CF adapter & I/O card, due to these cards does not
comply with ATA & ATAPI Command.
The IDE CF Carddrive 3.5’’ RoHS does not support Hot-Swap.
Shutdown your PC before inserting or removing a CF card.
