C’est avec fierté que nous vous présentons le programme qui lance les festivités entourant la 66e édition
du Festival du homard de Shediac qui se déroulera du 8 au 12 juillet 2015. Ce programme reflète le
dynamisme que connaît le Festival du homard depuis ces dernières années.
We are proud to present to you our program, which launches the festivities of the 66th edition of the
Shediac Lobster Festival that will take place from July 8-12, 2015. This program is reflecting the dynamism
which the Lobster Festival has been experiencing these past few years.
Plus que jamais, le Festival du homard devient un évènement populaire dans tout le Nouveau-Brunswick
et même au-delà de notre province. À l’occasion du 66e Festival du homard, la Ville de Shediac vous
déroule son tapis rouge et vous invite à une mer d’activités qui saura plaire à tous les membres de la
famille. On peut vous assurer que tout a été prévu afin de faire de l’édition 2015 un évènement que tous
et chacun se souviendront longtemps.
More than ever, the Lobster Festival is becoming a popular event all over the province and beyond. For
the 66th Lobster Festival, the Town of Shediac is rolling out the red carpet and inviting you to take part in a
variety of activities that are sure to please your entire family. You can rest assured that everything has been
taken into consideration so that everyone will remember the 2015 edition for a very long time.
En tant que co-présidents de ce grand évènement, nous sommes donc particulièrement heureux et fiers
de vous souhaiter la plus cordiale des bienvenues à Shediac. Nous vous invitons à consulter ce programme
afin de constater par vous-même les nombreuses activités et surtout les nouveautés que la 66e édition
du Festival du homard a à vous offrir. Manèges, pique-nique, spectacles, compétitions sportives, activités
récréatives, homard à volonté et surtout notre fameuse longue table ainsi que plusieurs autres surprises
vous attendent lors de ce prestigieux évènement annuel.
Au nom du comité organisateur, au nom des citoyens et citoyennes de la ville de Shediac c’est donc avec
plaisir que nous vous souhaitons un bon 66e Festival du homard.

picnics, shows, sporting competitions, recreational activities, all-you-can-eat lobster and especially our
famous long table as well as several other surprises await you at this prestigious annual event.

Celebrating the 66th Anniversary of the Lobster Festival, the Greater Shediac Chamber of
Commerce will attempt to break their world record by preparing a Lobster Roll reaching
over 72 feet 4 inches long. Join us and enjoy!
Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door for a piece of the Lobster Roll and also includes a t-shirt, a
certificate and the admission fee to the festival grounds. Tickets are on sale until Tuesday, July 7th at the
following locations in Shediac: Co-op, Sobeys and Jean Coutu Pharmacy. Only 200 tickets will be sold.

1.Tenir le homard dans la main gauche, à l’envers, saisir les pinces avec la main
droite et les arracher en tordant. | Holding lobster in left hand, upside down,
grasp claws with right hand and twist off claws.
2.Casser le petit joint reliant la grosse pince au corps.
Break off small joint connecting large claw to body.
