Quest’anno, MGM S.p.A. celebra il 10°
anniversario della sua presenza nel mondo
dell’in-line. Siamo stati l’ultimo marchio che
è entrato sul mercato quando, 10 anni fa,
erano presenti sulla scena dell’in-line molte
aziende importanti. Con il nostro lavoro, la
nostra dedizione e le nostre innovazioni siamo
cresciuti velocemente. Abbiamo rivoluzionato
e creato un nuovo standard nel segmento
della velocità grazie alla nostra innovazione,
brevettata, dell’assetto 4x100. Con il nostro
concetto di Women on Wheels siamo stati i
primi a soddisfare le esigenze specifiche delle
pattinatrici. Con il brevetto Active Steering
abbiamo creato il concetto Carving applicato al
pattino. Con il nostro brevetto di meccanismo
per l’allungabilità del pattino da bambino
abbiamo creato qualcosa di unico al mondo.
Noi, come MGM S.p.A., e Fila Luxembourg
abbiamo recentemente annunciato il rinnovo
del contratto di licenza per la produzione e

This year, MGM S.p.A. celebrates the 10th
anniversary of our presence in the in-line world.
We were the last brand entering the market ten
years ago when there were many big players on
the in-line skating scene. With our hard work,
dedication, and innovations we grew very fast.
We revolutionized the speed segment and
ended up setting the standard with our patented
100mm wheel and frame set up. We were the
first to address the specific needs of the lady
consumers with our “Women on Wheels”
concept. The Carving concept applied to the
in-line skates was created with our patented
Active Steering technology. We have patented
our extendable mechanism which is an easy to
use and one of the most unique size adjustment
systems in the world.
We, as MGM S.p.A. and Fila Luxembourg,
recently announced the renewal of our
licensing agreement for the production of inline
skates under FILA brand. Under the terms of
the agreement we were granted a worldwide
exclusive licence to produce and sell skates for
a period of 12 years, with renewal option for the
same or longer period.

give MGM even more energy to reach leading

Cette année la société MGM SpA fête ses 10
ans de présence sur le marché mondial du
roller inline. Nous fûmes la dernière marque
à rentrer sur le marché, et à ce moment là il
y avait beaucoup acteurs sur la scéne. Avec
le travail acharné que nous avons fait en
innovation et spécialisation , nous avons très
vite pris de l’ampleur. Grâce à notre innovation
brevetée sur le système des 100mm nous
avons pu révolutionner le segment de la vitesse
imposant les standards connus aujourd’hui.
Grâce à notre concept Women on wheels nous
avons été les premiers à nous orienter vers les
besoins spécifiques de la consommatrice. Avec
le technologie brevetée du ‘’Active steering’’
nous avons crée le concepte du CARVING
appliqué aux roller inline.
Avec le mechanisme breveté d’ajustement
nous avons conçu un système d’ajustement
unique au monde.
Nous, la société MGM SpA et Fila Luxembourg
avons récemment officialisé la reconduction
du contrat de licence pour l’exploitation de
la marque Fila dans le domaine des rollers
inline. Selon les termes du contrat, nous
avons l’exlusivité mondiale dans la production
et vente des rollers pour une période de 12
ans reconductible pour un durée égale ou
supérieure. “Je suis sûr que la longue durée
du nouveau contrat procurera à la MGM encore
plus d’énergie pour atteindre le leadership dans
notre domaine d’activité” a fièrement annoncé

den aktuellen Standard. Mit dem Konzept WOW
Women on Wheels wurde erstmals eine eigene
Damenlinie entwickelt, welche sich nach den
spezifischen Anforderungen der Skaterinnen
richtet. Unsere patentierte Active Steering
Technologie greift das Carving Konzept auf
und bringt es am Inline-Skate zur Anwendung.
Mit unserem patentierten Mechanismus zur
Schuh-Verlängerung haben wir ein in der
Welt einzigartiges Größenanpassungssystem
kreiert.
Wir, als MGM S.p.A., und Fila Luxembourg
haben erst kürzlich die Erneuerung der
Lizenzvereinbarung zur Produktion von InlineSkates unter der Marke FILA bekannt gegeben.
Mit dieser Vereinbarung haben wir uns die
weltweite, exklusive Lizenz zur Produktion und
zum Vertrieb von Skates für einen Zeitraum von
12 Jahren, mit der Option auf Verlängerung von
weiteren zwölf Jahren oder länger, gesichert.

Langzeitvereinbarung MGM noch mehr Energie
zur Erreichung der Leaderrolle in unserem

RUOTE DA 100MM, L’EVOLUZIONE DELLA VELOCITÀ
FILA Skates ha rivoluzionato il pattino da velocità.
Modificando lo standard di fissaggio telaio/scarpa, siamo stati in grado di montare
4 ruote da 100mm al posto delle tradizionali 5 da 84mm. Ma, fondamentale,
mantenendo inalterata l’altezza della scarpa dal terreno.
Quindi, a parità di assetto, sono innumerevoli i vantaggi che si
ottengono:
1- più velocità grazie alla ridotta resistenza al rotolamento del
grande diametro
2- maggiori distanze percorse a parità di energia utilizzata nelle
spinte
3- maggiore manovrabilità grazie al telaio più corto e i minori
punti di appoggio sul terreno
100MM WHEELS, THE EVOLUTION OF SPEED
FILA Skates has revolutionized speed skates.
By altering the chassis/shoe fixture, we were able to fit 4 wheels
with a 100mm diameter instead of the traditional 5 x 84mm
wheels. And, importantly, we managed to maintain the same ground
clearance.
Therefore, while maintaining the same set up, we achieve numerous
advantages:
1- greater speed thanks to reduced rolling resistance of the larger diameter
2- greater distance covered with same energy expenditure in strokes
3- greater manoeuvrability thanks to shorter chassis and fewer points of contact
with ground

FILA Skates a révolutionné le patin de vitesse.
En modifiant le standard de fixation châssis/chaussure, nous avons pu monter 4
roues de 100 mm à la place des 5 roues traditionnelles de 84 mm, tout en conservant

waren wir in der Lage, vier 100mm-Rollen statt der herkömmlichen fünf 84mmRollen zu montieren. Von grundlegender Wichtigkeit dabei ist jedoch, dass die Höhe

La nuova tecnologia Steering, grazie al rivoluzionario telaio sterzante, fornisce

ACTIVE STEERING SKATES: L’EVOLUZIONE DELL’IN-LINE
Il nuovo telaio con proprietà sterzanti modifica vantaggiosamente l’azione della
pattinata.
Si spinge più a lungo e in modo più efficiente. Si spende meno energia perché per
coprire la stessa distanza servono meno spinte.
Inoltre, si possono montare ruote di grande diametro (fino a 90mm), ottenendo
velocità superiori senza sacrificare la manovrabilità che, grazie alle proprietà
sterzanti del telaio è incredibilmente aumentata.

The new steerable frame brings a major improvement to the classic skating action.
The power stroke becomes longer and more efficient. This results in a reduction in
energy expenditure because the same distance can be covered with fewer strokes.
In addition, the new skates can be equipped with large diameter wheels (up to
90 mm) thereby reaching higher speeds without sacrificing the exceptional
manoeuvrability provided by the steerable frame.

has been created. “Authentic” because these are not models adapted from
men’s skates that simply feature different colours, uppers or, at best, padding
of a different thickness or design. Using an actual woman’s last, specific moulds
were created for the shell, cuff and lever. The uppers reflect the latest fashion
trends in terms of lines and colours. FILA has gone to another level that no
other inline skating company dares to touch. We understand women expect
the best and we have not only done this with our product and specifications,
but we have also added a design second to none. FILA is now utilizing the

PATTINO DA BAMBINO CON TECNOLOGIA DI ALLUNGAMENTO X-ONE
La regolazione si effettua con un semplice gesto:
a- si estrae la leva posizionata sotto il tallone
b- si gira la leva per allungare/accorciare il pattino
L’unicità di questo meccanismo riguarda essenzialmente 3 aspetti:
1- è molto leggero
2- consente di regolare la lunghezza in modo micrometrico. Non si salta di taglia
in taglia con scatti da 1cm, ma la regolazione è millimetrica
3- si può regolare il pattino tenendolo ai piedi, in modo da essere sicuri del
raggiungimento della giusta lunghezza
Con il nuovo CBS abbiamo creato la nuova generazione di pattino allungabile.
L’adattabilità alla crescita del piede del bambino è assicurata dalla regolazione
simultanea in lunghezza della scarpa e del telaio, per un corretto posizionamento su ogni taglia. La porzione frontale della scarpa è solidalmente connessa
con la prima metà del telaio. Allungando la scarpa, si allunga anche il telaio così
da mantenere inalterato, costante, il baricentro del bambino sul pattino
Con la tecnologia SoftWearTM si è eliminata la
sovrapposizione tra tomaia e scarpetta. La scarpa,
morbida, è costruita in un unico pezzo, aderente al
piede. Si massimizza così il comfort e la leggerezza
del pattino. La trasmissione dell’energia è più
immediata e gli ingombri ridotti rendono il pattino
anche esteticamente più filante.
With the new CBS, we really entered the new generation of junior adjustable
skates. Adaptability to the child’s growing foot is ensured by the boot and frame
simultaneously expanding to ensure constant skater balance as the child’s foot
grows. The front portion of the boot is connected to the first half of the frame.
Expanding the boot lengthens the frame too, so that the balance on the skate
is kept constant
SoftWearTM technology eliminates the problem of overlap between upper and
liner. The shoe, which is very soft, is constructed in one piece and offers a
very snug fit. This maximises the comfort and lightness of the skate. Energy
is transmitted more immediately and the skate is leaner in design, for an even
sleeker look.
KID’s IN-LINE SKATE FEATURING X-ONE ADJUSTABLE MECHANISM
Easy to use, safe, long-lasting models. Adjustment is possible with a simple action:
a- pull out the micro-adjustable lever under the heel
b- turn the lever to lengthen/shorten the shoe
This mechanism is unique in 3 ways, essentially:
1- it’s very light
2- It allows the user to make even minimal adjustments to the length. The
adjustment is millimetric, not simply by one shoe size or 1 cm at a time
3- the skate can be adjusted while actually being worn, so the user is sure of
adjusting to the right size

génération des roller ajustables junior. L’adaptabilité au pied grandissant des
enfants est assurée par la chaussure et la platine dont la longueur s’ajuste de
paire ce qui permets une parfaite harmonie entre les tailles du chaussant.
La portion frontale de la chaussure est connectée à la première moitié de la platine. L’allongement de la chaussure implique d’allonger également la platine de

La technologie SoftWearTM a permis d’éliminer la superposition entre empeigne
et chausson. La chaussure, souple et réalisée en une seule pièce, adhère
parfaitement au pied, ce qui optimise le confort et la légèreté du patin. La
transmission de l’énergie est plus immédiate et les encombrements réduits
rendent le patin esthétiquement plus efilé.

Innenschuh beseitigt. Der weiche Schuh besteht aus einem einzigen Stück und
liegt am Fuß an. Somit werden Komfort und Leichtigkeit des Skates maximiert.

Il confort è una combinazione di molti fattori, dove
la temperatura dei piedi gioca un ruolo molto
importante. Durante l’esercizio del pattinaggio, i piedi si surriscaldano e sudano. Con
la costruzione FILA “Air Flow”, assicuriamo la ventilazione dei piedi che si rinfrescano
e si mantengono asciutti.
La combinazione di due reti leggere e traspiranti, una collocata nella parte esterna
della tomaia e una come fodera della scarpa, fornisce la migliore ventilazione ai piedi
del pattinatore.

E’ ottenuto per stampaggio ad iniezione di un
composito di Nylon e fibra di vetro. Si è abbinata
l’elasticità del nylon alla resistenza torsionale
della fibra di vetro. Unendo questi materiali
abbiamo ottenuto un carrello che consente una
pattinata semplice e corregge i piccoli errori di
impostazione.
Injection moulded using a nylon and glass fibre
composite. The flexibility of the nylon is combined with the torsional resistance of glass fibre
to produce a chassis that ensures easy skating
action, correcting any small errors due to imperfect technique.

SoftWearTM technology eliminates the problem of overlap between
upper and liner. The shoe, which is very soft, is constructed in one
piece and offers a very snug fit. This maximises the comfort and
lightness of the skate. Energy is transmitted more immediately and
the skate is leaner in design, for an even sleeker look.
