Serge Gainsbourg représente l'évolution de cette période la
chanson française :
Du cabaret de ses débuts, il de vient compositeur pour l'Eurovision
(la chanteuse France Gall) puis introduit la pop sixtees, le rock, le
raeggae. Mais il garde son style particulier : une voix brisée, qui
parfois sussure plus que ne chante, et des textes provocateurs
érotiques, ironiques ou engagés socialement.

From Cabaret, he became composer for singer of the Eurovision
(france Gall) and he introduced the music from the pop sistees,
rock, raeggae. But he keeps his oow style : a broken voice,
sometimes whispering and not really singing, and provocative lyrics
with eroticism, irony and social commitment.

Aux débuts des années 1970 commence la vague international du
Disco (spécialement conçue pour la danse dans les nouvelles
discothèques) lanée par de grosses compagnies. La chanson
française a du mal à s'adapter.
In the beginning of the 70's starts the Disco international wave
(specialy made for dancing in the new discotheque – dance club)
promoted by big companies. The French chanson faced difficulties
to resist and to tried to adapt.
