29. - 30. 8. 2015: Last summer dance @ Erpeldange sur Sûre
The participative music and arts festival Last Summer Dance will await young and old on the last August weekend next to the castle in Erpeldange-surSûre!
It’s a synthaesia of music, arts, workshops - we want
to build a platform of exchange where boundaries
are inexistent, and discussions about our multicultural society imminent. The idea of the festival is to
promote intercultural dialogue and encourage active citizenship - we believe that a sustainable and
conscious handling of our environment starts with
small steps!
Especially since the disappearance of the Food For
Your Senses Festival this year, we want to close the
gap and show that a festival with a demanding lineup, a environment-conscious way of organising, fair
price policies, as well as a atmosphere that makes
you feel at home, can exist, once commercial goals
are not in the foreground.
The music programmation happens on two stages
and puts famous Luxembourgish musicians such as
“The Disliked” next to young revelations from the
Greater Region like “Konoba” and “Down Town” or
local newcomers: Quantum Dot, Tommek, Dillendub, Acoustic Message.
The art exhibition is all about “On the road”, where
for example a Canadian girl will talk about her experience on travelling two months in Marocco and
organising a music festival with people from ten different nations and the local community!
And for all the creative souls, there will be workshops on nature jewellery, insect hotels or moss
graffities. Last but not least, you can test your flexibility and coordination during yoga, capoeira and
slacklining!
Besides all of this, we don’t want to forget about
the environment - we are fondly interested in respecting the natural ressources and their sustainable
use. We hope to inspire, through our selection of
workshops, some visitors to think about the future
of our planet and men.
On top of that, we try to improve our own green
guide lines every year: by using green energy, looking for fair trade alternatives to multinational,
commercial brands and establishing affordable price policies.

Tickets are availabe for the price of 15 euros (camping included, festival free for children below 14 years) at e-ticket.lu, Café Konrad, Independent’s Café
and our members.

The Last Summer Dance is for everyone. With this
