Students have the option of adding a minor (30 credits) in any of a number of disciplines offered
at the Telfer School of Management or at the faculties of Arts, Engineering, Science, Health
Sciences or Social Sciences.
Note that secondary school prerequisite courses may be required for the second module.
In the minor option, students must take 6 elective credits (2 courses).
In all other cases, students must take 36 elective credits.

The introductory survey courses, ART1360 Histories of Art I and ART1361 Histories of Art II, are required for all undergraduates in the
Department of Visual Arts (Bachelor of Fine Arts; Major in Visual Arts; Major and Minor in History and Theory of Art), and are pre-requisites
for all compulsory 3000-level courses, and should therefore be taken in first year to ensure graduation on time.
