—Tu veux essayer ? crie quelqu'un qui est derrière un gros cèdre.
J'ai du mal à retenir mon fou rire en voyant Sushi ; il avance avec des moules à muffins au bout des pattes.
— C'est au point, ton invention, tu crois ?
— Ne te moque pas de moi, râle le chat orgueilleux. C'est mon prototype. Je vais l'améliorer.
— Et ça garde tes pattes au sec ?
Sushi ne me répond pas. Le voilà reparti, l'air pensif ; il est allé demander conseil à ses amis les souris. C'est
vrai qu'elles sont expertes pour inventer de nouveaux trucs !
— Tu fais de la patte-isserie maintenant ?
— De la quoi ? grogne le chat tigré, dont les moustaches sont raides comme des baguettes japonaises.
— Bien, tes pattes sont dans des moules à gâteau !
