Camp Français - Meet Your Leaders

I’ve just completed a degree in French and
Psychology at SFU and will be returning in the fall
to complete a teaching program in Elementary
French Immersion. I’ve been a leader for French summer
camps for the past three years at UVic and
I’ve also had the opportunity to live in France for two
years. This summer I’m so excited to be using those
experiences in camps with kids on the Peninsula
where I grew up! I’ve had lots of fun experiences
working at a childcare centre in Vancouver and
volunteering in some elementary school classrooms too.
In my spare time I love reading (especially Harry
Potter!), playing soccer, being with friends and
family, and baking. I’m really looking forward to a
great summer of fun with everyone!"
Hi I'm Jacqueline! I love exploring the great outdoors,
and going on hikes, camping, and swimming in the Ocean!
I am a lifeguard, swim instructor, and camp leader at Panorama
Recreation. Last year I went on a three month exchange to
France, where I was immersed in the language and culture of
France. I will be sharing my knowledge from that trip with all the
lovely kids who signed up for French Camp this summer!
I am a very athletic and energetic person who just can't stay still,
if I'm not setting up for an activity you will probably find me
playing one with the kids!
