PRIZES:
Medals for Gold, silver and bronze finishers and prizes for consolation
winners. Consolation prizes will be awarded immediately after the match.
Both semi-finalists who do not advance to the finals will be awarded Bronze
medals on Sunday and have their pictures taken on the podium with the
Gold and silver medalists. All medals will be presented at the end of the
tournament.
ENTRY FEE:
The entry fee of $80 per person. The entry fee must be paid online to
Badminton New Brunswick and is non-refundable.

All plastic shuttles for U13 & 15 events
All feather shuttles for Under 17, Under 19 & under 23 events
Saturday Evening Social at the Delta Beausejour Hotel in the Ballroom
from 8-11pm. Evening will include music, light show, social atmosphere

Registrations must be done online through tournament software. Players may register
themselves or have a parent or coach do it for them.
Associations will be given a list of all players that registered from their province to
verify whether they are members in good standing with their respective associations.
Associations will have 48 hours to respond to the member verification players list and
as well as submit their players ranking order of their top 4 players/teams for each
event in each category. Associations can view all teams and players on the tournament
software link provided above. If there is no email returned with proper rankings
all players on the list will be assumed a member in good standing with
their association and will be placed in the draws by BNNB.
Players may register and compete in an age category(s) above their current
category; however they may only register for a maximum of three events.
Players may only play singles in one age category, doubles in one age category
and mixed doubles in one age category.
BNNB will distribute a copy of all rankings to each provincial association. Each
province has 48 hours from the time it is sent to protest the rankings.
ENTRY DEADLINE: Wednesday, May 6th 2015 at 11:59 PM EST
CONDITIONS OF
PARTICIPATION:
The competition is open to all athletes who are members in good standing
with their provincial association. The competition will be conducted under
the official rules of Badminton Canada and the Badminton World
Federation.
ELIGIBILITY:
U23 - Players born in 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995 or after
U19 - Players born in 1996,1997, 1998 or after
U17 - Players born in 1999, 2000 or after
U15 - Players born in 2001, 2002 or after
U13 - Players born in 2003, 2004 or after
EVENTS:
Events will be held in singles, doubles and mixed doubles. Draws will be
single elimination with consolation rounds.

SEEDING & DRAW: Seeding done by the Atlantic Provincial associations and draws
according to the Atlantic Technical Package. Draw will be single
elimination with Consolation rounds. All Consolation matches will be best 2
of 3 matches with setting and finals will be played on the day of the event..
Main Draw Finalists medal matches will be played on Sunday at University
de Moncton.

COACHES MEETING:
11:15AM at the University de Moncton - upstairs at the canteen
seating. Canteen will probably be closed for the season.
TRANSPORTATION:
No transportation supplied
CANTEEN:
No Canteen services available at any of the venues so please pack your
snacks and drinks wisely.
SOCIAL:
The social will be at the host hotel - Delta Beasejour Ballroom on the
second floor Saturday at 8pm and ending at 11pm . The social is $10 to
attend. Players do not need to pay this fee. Parents may purchase
their social tickets through tournament software when registering
their child for the tournament if they wish to do so. Also, Parents may
purchase the tickets Saturday evening at the entrance of the ballroom.
There will be enough space for everyone to attend the social so all
parents and family members can attend for $10 per person.
Children under 10 years of age enter for free. Music, light show, snack
food trays and beverages all provided in a social atmosphere. Casual
dress code. No Alcohol permitted.

Social Competition:
The Social will be a BLACK LIGHT THEME PARTY. Everyone
is encouraged to wear white or neon clothing. We want everyone to
glow! We will be giving away 2 black knight Max- Force
970 racquets valued at over $220 each to the most original white
and neon dressed Male and Female players at the social. Judges
will consist of two representatives from each province. There will
also be a prize for the parent/ coach who glows
the most!!

Des médailles seront données aux premières et 2e positions. Les médailles de
bronze seront données au 2 semi finalistes. Un prix sera aussi remis au
gagnant de chaque consolation.
Les frais d’inscription sont de 80$ et doivent être payés en ligne par carte de
crédit et aucun remboursement ne sera fait après la date limite d’inscription

Les inscriptions doivent fait avec Tournament Software.
*Lors de l’inscription, il est très important que les joueurs indiquent leur province.
Les associations provinciales vont recevoir la liste des inscriptions de leur province. Vous devez vous
assurer que tous les joueurs sont membres de votre association provinciale.
Une fois que les listes seront envoyées aux associations, vous avez 48h pour nous envoyer vote top 4
joueurs pour chaque évènement de chaque âge catégorie.
Si nous ne recevons rien de votre association après le 48h, nous assumons que chaque joueur et membre
et BNNB placera les joueurs de cette province dans les draws.
Les joueurs peuvent s’inscrire dans un âge catégorie plus élevé mais ne peuvent s’inscrire dans plus de 3
évènements, soit 1 simple, 1 double et 1 double mixte.
Dès que BNNB envoie les classements des joueurs, les associations provinciales ont 48h pour protester
ces classements.

samedi.

SOCIAL:
La soirée sociale aura lieu à la salle Ballroom à l’hôtel Delta Beauséjour de 20h à 23h samedi soirée.
Cette soirée est comprise dans les frais d’inscription et pour toute autre personne qui désire y assister, un
frais de 10$ sera exigé et payable sur tournament software ou samedi soir à la porte. L’entrée sera gatuite
pour les jeunes de moins de 10 ans.
Compétition à la soirée sociale: La soirée sociale se déroulera sous le thème Black Light Party. Nous vous
invitons à vous habiller en blanc ou en couleur fluo afin de maximiser l’effet des lumières. Une raquette
Black Knight Max- Force 970 (valeur de 220$) sera donnée au garçon et à la fille qui aura l’habillement le
plus original. Les juges seront composés de 2 représentants de chaque province. Il y aura aussi un prix pour
le parent/entraineur qui brillera le plus!
