Less open than the Vignes Blanches, and less oaky too, seemingly. Pretty plump fruit –
lacks a bit of acidic definition. Lovely, warming and fleshy – very particular style, and fair
game for the Mâconnais. (RH)

Tight, lively palate. Some green fruit and chalkiness – reminds me of Chablis, in fact,
though it is far fuller in body. Lovely acidic line. Light mealiness. Likely to age well. (RH)

Trademark oak spice on the nose, but lots of fruit backup, and a lovely ripe fruitiness too.
Smoky, flinty character adds an extra dimension. Good stuff. (RH)
