American Degrees, Global Careers
1 American Degrees, Global Careers Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) master of Business Administration (MBA) master of Science in Entrepreneurship and International Business Development (MSc.) member of Think DiFFerenT 2 Who are the American Business School’s students? Where are they from? Why did they choose your school? They come from all over the world! We have 60% of foreign students, Americans, Europeans, students from the middle East and Asia who choose France - and our school - to prepare American degrees (BBA, mBA and mSc) without going through overseas universities, which are very expensive and tend to be focused on the u.S. market. We also have 40% of French students who, soon after the Baccalaureate, want to immerse themselves in an international and multicultural environment, and take an American course in English. Others come after a French Bac +3 or +4 in order to complete their course and obtain an mBA to match their career aspirations. What are the main advantages of a multicultural environment? I mainly see them through two specificities of our school: - The group projects that give the opportunity to students of different nationalities to work together on issues or case studies and allow them to mutualize different perspectives that will benefit their future professional lives. Within multinational companies, they will be comfortable handling complex global projects. - The Study Abroad program, which allows our students to spend one to three semesters in a partner university abroad. There, they can complement and enhance their educational journey abroad. And they are very successful. We have many paths to excellence, particularly in American universities, as you will discover in the stories we publish in this booklet. What are the advantages of studying in English in the french capital? And how does it prepare students for the job market in the world? Paris is a very pleasant city, culturally and humanly, for our foreign students. They find an atmosphere you could define as the «hinge» between European countries, the middle East or Asia... and the united States. France is for them both a nation of tradition and a western country focused on careers and values of the future. Finally I would like to emphasize that we do not just train and prepare our students for jobs all over the world, we support them in their professional project, during and after their studies, until their permanent installation in a company that will fit their skills and aspirations. This is why we can say that our supportive role never stops...
