Each participant can learn about and explore their culinary theme of

The Gironde department is criss-crossed with a network of bicycle and pedestrian paths. There are more than
700 km of paths set aside for cyclists, and over 2,000 km of hiking trails more propitious to mountain bikes.
These are complemented by 453 km of urban cycle lanes.
Such a huge network is only normal for France's largest department.

THE ARCACHON BAY
In the Arcachon Bay area, the 90 km separating the southern part of La Teste-de-Buch from Cap-Ferret on the northern side need to be travelled
by car. However, from one village to the next, it is also possible to go along cycle paths or the coastal path to discover the region from port to
In the Médoc, it is possible to follow the coastline for 120 km, from the Pointe de Grave to Arcachon, stopping along the way, if you wish, on the
famous Route des Châteaux.
Cyclists in the Entre-Deux-Mers region will appreciate the small, peaceful hills and valleys thanks to the Piste Verte Roger Lapébie, nearly 50 km
long. Located along a former railway track, this gently-sloping path goes through beautiful countryside. Parking lots, picnic areas, cafés,
restaurants, bed and breakfasts, etc. are all available close to the cycle path.
In the Sud-Gironde the path goes through the largest forested area in Europe: forêts des Landes de Gascogne, the beautiful villages of Sauternes
or Langon and also through historical patrimony of place such as Château de Roquetaillade, Château de Cazeneuve, Collégiale d’Uzeste…
