Graduate Assistant in Regional and Urban Geography

Description des tâches
The recruited person will contribute to the research group(s) ‘Urban Studies’ and/or ‘Development,
societies, environments’ through teaching assistance and PhD research.
At least 50% of the working time will be dedicated to own doctoral research.
50% of the working time will be dedicated to teaching assistance at the Bachelor and Master’s levels in
regional and urban geography.
Profil souhaité
-
Master (or equivalent) in Human Geography or a related social science field
Capacity for empirical research (qualitative/quantitative); preferably in a transition economy country.
Great interest in conducting a PhD thesis work on urban struggles and urban social movements
Motivation to assist teaching at the Bachelor and Master’s levels
Organisational skills
Fluency in French and English; knowledge of a Slavic language would be welcome.
