Bienvenue à la classe de Français 3!!
Congratulations on your decision to continue your studies of French! I look forward to working with you all next school
year! Up to this point, you have worked very hard to learn quite a lot of French vocabulary, grammar, and culture. In
order to maintain your level of French, you will be completing several different assignments over the course of the
summer. YOU MUST DO ALL OF THE ASSIGNMENTS AND THEY WILL BE COLLECTED ON THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!!
Assignment 1
In order to continue to review the material that we have covered this year, you will be completing several sections in
your Gros Cahier (your yellow workbook). All activities must be completed in full. You will turn in these activities on the
first day of school. Even if you are not entirely sure how to do something, you must try! You may see several verbs that
are new to you, but this is a good opportunity for you to start to become an INDEPENDENT LEARNER! The points for
these activities will be factored into your first nine weeks grade. We will have several quizzes over this material in the
first few weeks of the school year.

Assignment 2
In order to continue to develop your listening and vocabulary, you will listen to, learn the vocabulary, and memorize the
following song. You can practice this song on Lyrics Training. We will have a song quiz over this song when we return
from summer break where 20 vocabulary words will be removed. You must also complete the vocabulary list. This will
help you understand the context of the song.
