That Moncton City Council approve Venn’s request for funding in the amount of $15,000 for the
2016 calendar year, with the goal of engaging a similar number of teams and individuals as was
achieved by Vennture Garage in its first year of operation.

Motion: That City retains ownership of its land surrounding the McLaughlin Road reservoir to
ensure it is protected from future development; and
That the McLaughlin Road Forest 2020 site be kept as a Demonstration Forest after the year 2020
to continue to showcase sustainable forest management practices.

Relief System
Motion: That Request for Proposal #RFP15-095 – Professional Engineering Services – Seaman
Brook Storm Relief System be awarded to the Proponent having received the highest total score,
being EXP Services Inc. for the total proposed price of $395,217.50, including H.S.T. @ 13%, and
estimated disbursements.
It is also recommended that a Professional Engineering Services agreement (which includes all
project phases) be drafted, and the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized to sign said agreement
and affix the Corporate Seal of the City of Moncton thereto.

Réseau d’évacuation des eaux pluviales du ruisseau Seaman soit attribuée au soumissionnaire
ayant obtenu le plus grand nombre de points dans l’ensemble, soit EXP Services Inc., au prix total
soumissionné de 395 217,50 $, TVH de 13 % et débours estimés inclus.
Il est en outre recommandé qu’un contrat de services professionnels d’ingénierie (qui inclut toutes
les phases du projet) soit rédigé et que le maire et la greffière municipale soient autorisés à y
apposer leur signature et le sceau de la Ville de Moncton.
