Adviser, curriculum Department, Ministry of Education and Research of Estonia ; Lectures at
University of Tartu ; used to work as a teacher of Estonian as a second language.
4. Experiences and expertise (please highlight the ones which are required in the participants’ profile of

l’événement)
At the Ministry of education responsible for strategic planning in the field of language studies on
different educational level, especially of the Estonian as a second language in Estonia. This work
includes analyzing, monitoring the process, planning activities to support students, planning and
implementing activities in teacher in-service training ; launching studies (researchs) in the field of
languages (recently « The quality of teaching in language schools for adult people », « Achieving study
results : the case of students, whose mother tongue differs from the language of instruction »). I have
been participated in many international project (recently – project of the European agency of special
Need Education – Immigrant students with special needs), I participated in the Conferences
« Languages of Schooling » in Strasbourg, analyzed the National Curriculum of Estonia from point of
view the language descriptors. I was the member of Estonian team, compiling the Estonian Language
profile.
At the moment I am writing my doctoral thesis at Tartu University, which means that I am familiar
with research methods etc.
5. Multiplier's capacity / capacité de démultiplication:
Because of my work duties I have contact and access to many teacher organisations, I have the possibility
to disseminate the information through teacher training. Time to time I should give a talk in teachers’
meeting, that could be one possibility to disseminate the results of workshop.
