BIOGRAPHY
Pauline Rouillard began singing at age 16. In 2012, she obtained her DEM at Avignon Conservatory
in the class of Valerie Marestin (honors for lyrical singing and unanimously for the lyrical art). Since
2010, she studies with Italian mezzo soprano and director Roberta Mattelli, with whom she performs
regularly in concerts in Italy and France. During this period, she also participated in master classes
with soprano Antonietta Stella, conductor Nicolas Giusti, soprano Mara Zampieri and baryton Alain
Fondary.
In 2007, she began on stage at the Lyric Festival of Salon-de-Provence, in the role of the Duchess
Page in Rigoletto. In 2009, she is Annina (Traviata) in the same festival, and "Voice from heaven"
Mireille (C.Gounod) in a creation during a tour in Provence. In 2010 and 2012 she sings with lyrical
art class at the Conservatoire, on the stage of the Opera Teatre of Avignon, roles of Fantasia (Le
Voyage dans la lune - Ofenbach) and Zerlina (Fra Diavolo – Auber).
In October-November 2011, she is the Queen of the Night (Zauberflöte) during a tour in Spain
organized by the production "Opera 2001."
Pauline is also interested in sacred music and sings Soprano soloist Gallia Gounod, Mozart's
Requiem, Rossini’s Little Solemn Mass with the vocal ensemble of Arles; and Vivaldi's Gloria with the
Chamber Orchestra "Morgenrote" in Perugia (Italy).
Pauline was a fnalist in the 1st International Competition of Opera Operetta in Vedène (2009),
fnalist at International competition Art Lyrique de Provence (2010), received the Art Lyrique Price
ofered by Ms. Andréa Guiot 2nd Young Artists Competition of Alès in the Cévennes (2010), won
the third prize at the International Competition for Young Singers Lyric Nîmes (2011) and won the
1st Prize at the XIVth International Opera Competition Ruggiero Leoncavallo 2013 Montalto
Ufugo (Italy). In 2014 she gets 3rd Prize in International Competition Maria Caniglia.
For the 2013-2014 season, she was a soloist in CNIPAL (National opera singer center) in Marseille,
with whom she performed at the operas of Marseille, Toulon, Avignon, Bordeaux, at Montpellier O
feld ... and meetings of master classes with Yvonne Minton, Renée Auphan, Marie-Ange
Todorovitch, Inva Mula and Louis Langrée. In August 2014, she is Giannetta in the opera L'Elisir
d'amore (Donizetti) at the festival Preggio and Gilda in the opera Rigoletto (Verdi) in Italy in October.
In November she is back in France for a tour as 1st Dame in die Zauberflöte.
