CAISSE POPULAIRE DE TIGNISH - RÉUNION ANNUELLE GÉNÉRALE
La Caisse populaire de Tignish tiendra sa réunion annuelle le mardi 20 novembre à 19h00 au Centre
Paroissiale de Tignish. La soirée débutera avec la réunion d’affaire suivie par des rafraîchissements.
Plusieurs prix seront pigés durant la soirée incluant 2 gros prix de 500$ chaque. Tous les propriétaires
sont bienvenus et pressé de participer pour célébrer les succès de votre entreprise. C’est votre
opportunité d’entendre les rapports de l’année des membres du comité que vous avez élu.
TIGNISH CREDIT UNION - ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Tignish Credit Union Ltd. will hold its Annual Membership Meeting on Tuesday, November 20th at 7:00
p.m. at the Tignish Parish Centre. The evening will begin with the business meeting followed by
refreshments. Prizes will be drawn for throughout the evening including two grand prizes of $500 each.
All owners are welcome and urged to attend to celebrate the success of their business. It is your
opportunity to hear the reports on the year’s activities from the Board Members whom you elected.
DÎNER AU RÔTI DE BOEUF
Venez nous joindre pour un dîner délicieux au rôti de boeuf le dimanche 4 novembre débutant à 12h00
au Centre communautaire de Palmer Road. Le dîner consiste d’un rôti de boeuf avec toutes les
garnitures, thé, café et dessert. Coût est adultes 10$ et enfants 5$. Les profits iront pour l’entretien de la
salle.
ROAST BEEF DINNER
Join us for a delicious roast beef dinner on Sunday, November 4th beginning at 12:00 p.m. at the Palmer
Road Community Centre. Dinner consists of roast beef with all the trimmings, tea, coffee, and dessert.
Cost is adults $10 and children $5. Proceeds will go towards the up-keep of the Hall.
ST. ANTHONY’S HAM & BEAN SUPPER
On Sunday, November 4th come enjoy a delicious ham & bean supper from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the
St. Anthony’s Parish Hall. Cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children.
ST. LOUIS COMMUNITY CENTRE
On Sunday, November 4 entertainment by a surprise group at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $5. Come and
enjoy a good evening of entertainment. Proceeds for the up-keep of the Centre.
Please note that there will be NO MUSIC on Sunday, November 11th and Sunday, November 18th.

Tignish Municipal Election will be held on Monday, November 5th from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the
Boardroom of the Municipal Office, 209 Phillip Street. There are seven candidates running to fill six vacant
seats. Get involve by voting.
ST. LOUIS T.O.P.S.
St. Louis T.O.P.S. meets every Monday at the St. Louis Community Hall. Weigh-in is from 6:00 p.m. to
6:30 p.m. and our meeting is from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. We like to see old members returning and
new members are always welcome!

The Alzheimer’s Support Group will be meeting on Thursday, November 8th at 1:30 p.m. at the Tignish
Seniors Home Care Co-op. Guest speaker will be present.
VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION NIGHT
The Tignish Seniors Home will be holding their Annual Volunteer Appreciation Night on Friday, November
9th at the Tignish Legion. Supper will be at 6:00 p.m. with music to follow at 7:00 p.m. with Joey and Blair.

Remembrance Day wreaths are available at the Branch.
Remembrance Day Banquet - Purchase your tickets at the Branch. Cost is $10 for members and $15
for non-members. Only a limited number of tickets are being sold. Deadline to purchase is
November 7th. There will be a special video presentation as this is our Branch’s 80th Anniversary.
There will be live entertainment in our Lounge following the Banquet.
FREE-ACTIVE PARENTING OF TEENS PROGRAM
A Free-Active Parenting of Teens Program is being offered. This 6 week session is for parents whose
goal is to promote better communication and respect between themselves and their teens or soon to be
teens. Instructed by Rene Tremblay and will be given every Thursday evening starting November 8th
from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Tignish Employment Resource Centre, located at 211 Phillip St.,

SOUPER À LA MORUE SALÉE
Le Club des Coeurs joyeux vous invites à un souper à la morue salée le vendredi 9 novembre de 16h30
à 18h30 au Centre acadien de Prince-Ouest. Le coût est 12,50$ (10$ pour membres) – veuillez noter le
changement dans le coût. Un repas de remplacement sera offert à ceux qui n’aiment pas le poisson
salé. Seulement 40 assiettes seront servies. Tous les profits iront aux Club des aînés.
SALT FISH SUPPER
The senior’s group “Le Club des Coeurs joyeux” invite you to come out to a salt fish supper on Friday,
November 9th from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Centre acadien de Prince-Ouest. Cost is $12.50 ($10 for
members) – please note change in cost. An alternative meal will be offered for those who do not like salt
fish. Only 40 plates will be served. All proceeds go to the Club.
ANTRIM SISTERS – CHRISTMAS OPEN HOUSE
Join us for our Christmas Open House on Friday, November 9th from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and
Saturday, November 10th from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. as we launch the Holiday season in style. Come

generosity, the Committee raised $10,000 and all money raised goes to grant wishes to children who have
a high-risk, life threatening illness. Wanda Clark is now Chairperson of Tignish Children’s Wish
