On the occasion of the ‘2007 Karting Awards’ organised in Monaco,
the CIK-FIA published a colour 80-page book in a format similar to its
yearbook. This publication reviews the highlights of the 2007 CIK-FIA
Championship season, with a topic on each of the 2007 Champions and
all the detailed classifications of the 2007 CIK-FIA Championships, Cups
and Trophies. A few historical references and a portfolio of the six finalist
photographs of the 1st CIK-FIA International Karting Photo Contest are also
featured.

Antidoping tests
As a logical follow-up to the antidoping consciousness-raising campaign
jointly conducted in 2006 by the CIK-FIA and the FIA Institute for
Safety, twelve antidoping tests were carried out during the 2007 CIK-FIA
Championship season. These tests took place at Mariembourg (B) within
the framework of the World Championship and of the World Cup for KF2
and at Sarno (I) within the framework of the World Cup for KZ1 and of the
European KF3 Championship.
All the tests proved to be negative.

Exclusion of the Entrant/Driver Mahé from Race 2 of the German
round of the CIK-FIA European Superkart Championship for
nonconformity of his fuel
The resulting new classification of Race 2 (from the 6th place) and new
final classification of the Championship are on www.cikfia.com (http://

Further to the fuel tests carried out after the last round of the 2007
CIK-FIA European Superkart Championship at the Sachsenring (D) and
because of the nonconformity of the fuel sample taken at the end of Race
2 from kart No. 33 driven by Benjamin Mahé (F), the Stewards of the
meeting have taken the decision to exclude the Entrant/Driver concerned.

A l’occasion des “Karting Awards 2007” à Monaco, la CIK-FIA a publié un
ouvrage de 80 pages en couleurs, d’un format similaire à son annuaire.
Cette publication passe en revue les grands moments de la saison
2007 des Championnats de la CIK-FIA, consacre un sujet à chacun
des Champions 2007 et répertorie tous les classements détaillés des
Championnats, Coupes et Trophées CIK-FIA de la saison 2007. Figurent
encore au sommaire quelques références historiques et un portfolio
composé des six photos finalistes du 1er Concours International de
Photographies de Karting de la CIK-FIA.

Contrôles anti-dopages
En tant que suite logique à la campagne de sensibilisation contre le
dopage menée conjointement en 2006 par la CIK-FIA et l’Institut de la FIA
pour la Sécurité, douze tests anti-dopages ont été pratiqués au cours de
la saison 2007 des Championnats de la CIK-FIA. Ces tests ont eu lieu à
Mariembourg (B) dans le cadre du Championnat du Monde et de la Coupe
du Monde de KF2 et à Sarno (I) dans le cadre de la Coupe du Monde de
KZ1 et du Championnat d’Europe de KF3.
Tous les tests se sont révélés négatifs.

Exclusion du Concurrent/Pilote Mahé de la Course 2 de l’épreuve
allemande du Championnat d’Europe CIK-FIA de Superkart pour
carburant non-conforme
Il en résulte un nouveau classement de la Course 2 (à partir de la
6e place) et un nouveau classement final du Championnat, lesquels
se trouvent sur www.cikfia.com (http://www.cikfia.com/News2007/

Suite aux analyses de carburant effectuées après la dernière épreuve du
Championnat d’Europe CIK-FIA 2007 de Superkart au Sachsenring (D) et à
la non-conformité de l’essence prélevée à l’issue de la Course 2 sur le kart
n°33 de Benjamin Mahé (F), les Commissaires Sportifs de l’épreuve ont
pris la décision d’exclure le Concurrent/Pilote concerné.
