 Offre de stage: vidéaste Centre d’histoire orale et de récits numérisés, Université Concordia De janvier à mai 2016 DESCRIPTION DE L’ORGANISME: Le Centre d'histoire orale et de récits numérisés (CHORN) de l'Université Concordia est un lieu de convergence tant pour la recherche en histoire numérisée que pour l'enseignement et la publication d'articles scientifiques par les membres de la faculté et du corps étudiant de l'Université Concordia, ainsi que pour des projets communautaires aux niveaux local, national et international. www.facebook.com/cohds www.histoiresdeviemontreal.ca www.montrealpostindustriel.ca www.storytelling.concordia.ca DESCRIPTION DU STAGE: Le CHORN offre plus d’une quinzaine d’ateliers de formation, de séminaires et de tables rondes à chaque trimestre. Des centaines de personnes participent à ces activités de formation et de diffusion de la recherche sur place alors que d’autres souhaiteraient y avoir accès à distance. L’objectif est donc de les rendre accessibles au plus grand nombre. La ou le stagiaire assistera à un certains nombre de présentations (à déterminer), bénéficiant ainsi d’un riche apprentissage axé sur l’histoire orale et numérique. Sous la supervision du coordonnateur des médias numériques, la ou le stagiaire sera responsable de la captation de l’événement, du transfert du fichier et d’un montage minimal (sélection de quelques extraits). La ou le stagiaire pourra également participer au développent de webinaires sur divers sujets, destinés au site web du CHORN. COMPÉTENCES RECHERCHÉES: • Expérience en production vidéo • Sens de l’organisation et minutie • Expérience en postproduction (Final Cut Pro) • Autonomie et sens de l’initiative • Expérience avec les Codec pour diffusion web • Capacité à travailler en équipe CONDITIONS: 1 ou 2 jours par semaine (horaire flexible), non rémunéré, lettre de recommandation fourni, peut être crédité. INTERNSHIP DESCRIPTION: The COHDS offers over fifteen training workshops, seminars, and roundtables every term. Hundreds of people participate in these training and research dissemination events at the Centre while others would like to access them remotely. The intern will attend a number of presentations (to be determined), thus benefiting from a rich and diverse training in oral and digital history. Under the supervision of the Digital Media Coordinator, the intern will be responsible for filming the event, transferring the file and editing short clips to be inputted on COHDS website. The intern might also take part in the creation of webinars on topics related to oral history. REQUIREMENTS: • Experience with video production • Very organized • Experience in postprodution Final Cut • Strong sense of initiative • Familiar with web video Codecs • Enjoy working with others CONDITIONS: 1 or 2 days per week (flexible schedule); unpaid; reference letter provided; can be credited.
