ENGEL est en fait un multi-instrumentiste qui joue seulement (accrochez-vous) : violon, cornemuse,
flûtes de toutes sortes, harmonica, xylophone, claviers, basse, percussion, et d’autres… Aidé par plusieurs
chanteurs et chanteuses, il a créé une musique d’une grande beauté, très inspirée. Si l’influence dominante est
Mike Oldfield, ce mélange de rock et de musique ethnique intègre aussi, outre la musique celtique, des
influences plus méditerranéennes et orientales, ainsi que des atmosphères parfois méditatives (pensez à la
musique de Titanic). Et surtout, Engel développe de splendides mélodies, mises en valeur par une science
remarquable de l’arrangement, et une grande habileté à communiquer des émotions. Un merveilleux voyage

Une musique riche en émotion
ENGEL is a spanish multi-instrumentist who only plays (very well) violin, bagpipes, guitars, flutes,
didgeridoo, harmonica, xylophone, keyboards, bass, whistle, percussions, and some other instruments…Helped
by numerous singers, he has created a beautiful and inspired music, mainly (but not only) influenced by Mike
Oldfield. It melts rock and ethnic music, celtic, but also oriental/mediterranean influences, and some more
peaceful and meditative atmospheres (Think of Titanic ‘s music). Above all, Engel develops splendid melodies,
enhanced by an impressive science in arrangements and a great sense of emotion. A wonderful musical travel…
