Votre fonction :
We are hiring a UNIX Standard SYE for one of our customer
in Luxembourg.
You’ll be responsible for these following tasks :
Processing incidents
Investigating the scope of problem processing
Coordinating new firmware installation on storage
arrays
Software update installation in the backup area
Processing provisioning requests in the backup area
Advising other directorates/units in both areas
Active participation in projects
Participation in technical meetings with other
directorates/units of the unit
Tool development to facilitate their work and possible
sharing of these tools with other directorates/units
Deduplication solution management
Writing of proposals to improve hosting standards and
implement the proposed solutions

Organization of presentations and/or trainings if new
technologies are to be employed
Processing provisioning requests in the storage (SAN
and NAS) area
Data replication management (SAN, NAS, backup)
SAN infrastructure administration (Storage and network)
NAS infrastructure administration

Professional experience:
System Engineer, specialized in one or more technical,
infrastructural and architectural fields related to IT
operations.
Minimum 4 years of education after secondary education
Minimum 4 year of relevant professional experience
ITIL Foundation Certification
Certifications in the field (Symantec NetBackup,
Administration for Unix or HDS Storage Manager Expert)
Ability to lead and participate in multi-lingual (EN and FR)
meetings, ease of communication.
Good knowledge of tools for ICT management:
standards, market trends, practical implementations.
Good technical knowledge of ICT infrastructure and systems
in their domain of expertise.

Recent practical experience with ICT operations in their
domain of expertise: setup of operations, conducting of
operations, implementation and follow-up of SLAs.
Ability to lead and participate in multi-lingual (EN and FR)
meetings, ease of communication..
