Soirée Cinéma (5th and 6th grade)
Be ready for our first Movie Night!
The 2nd and 3rd graders have
received their penpal postcards.
They are currently working on
answering their penpals.
FRENCH CONVERSATION HOUR
Madame Hardiman & Madame Morin
would like to invite you to meet them
at Café Framboise, this Saturday
January 16, from 2:00 to 3:00. Come
grab a bite and come play some
games with us in French! Everyone is
welcome to attend.

At 6 pm
Students in grade 4, 5, 6, 7, & 8
will take the FLES or National
French Contest this quarter. The
FLES will take place in the month
of February and the NFC will take
place in March. Students will
start practicing this month.

on the peninsula. Here is an overview of the

As you can see, it is very easy to eat à la

Madame Hardiman had a guest speaker
who came to address the 3rd and 4th
graders during Charleston Week. Mrs
Leland of the Huguenot Society came to
talk about her work and talked about what
the Huguenots had to endure when they
came to America. Mrs Leland used to
teach French at Charleston Day School!
