instructions first in order to obtain maximum pleasure from your purchase. Please
also carefully observe all the instructions for safe use of the product.

Adapters: Only connect the adapter to the mains after checking whether the mains
voltage is the same as the values on the identification tags. Never connect an adapter or

1. Introduction
The Infra-Red Mini Controller lets you remotely control lights and appliances from the control
of your armchair. Place it near your home entertainment system or by your bedside as you
like. With your Infrared Universal Remote Control (X10 compatible), or with your RF X10
Remote Control, or by pressing the buttons on your Mini Controller, you can turn off your
appliances or lights around your home without getting out of your easy chair. You can turn
off your child’s radio, TV or night light from your bedroom. You can turn your lights on with
the push of a button on your remote control if you hear a suspicious noise at night. With
your Infra-Red Mini Controller, you can control virtually all electrical appliances in your home.

• Lets you remotely control up to 8 X10 Modules (16 with the remote control) from
anywhere in your home. You plug lamps and appliances into the "Lamp" or "Appliance
Modules".
• Receives commands from your Remote Control (Infrared or RF).

2. Installation
The Mini Controller
Installation of your Mini Controller is easy, simply follow these steps:

Using a small screwdriver, choose one of the 16 letters on the Mini Controller Housecode
Dial. Select the same housecode as you set for the Modules and the remote (RF remote
and Pronto remote).
Plug the power cord into any functioning 230 VAC - 50 Hz outlet.
Note:
For RF remote control, if the Mini Controller is set to house code P, then all commands
coming from a remote control will be converted to powerline carrier using the house code set
in the remote. When you press on a front panel key of the Mini Controller, the house code P
will be transmitted.
For PRONTO remote control: If the Mini Controller is set to house code P, then all
commands coming from a Pronto remote control will be converted to powerline using the
house code you set in the house code screen of a Pronto remote. When you press a front
panel key of the Mini Controller, the housecode P will be transmitted.
Setting up your X10 Infrared Remote Control:
To control X10 device you need to enter the Home Automation code in your X-10 remote.
You can find this code in the Code Book of your remote control.
To enter the code, please refer to the user guide of your remote control (same procedure as
the setting of a VCR or SAT ... code). Note that you need to dedicate one mode key of your
remote control to this home automation code.
For a non X10 remote control, please refer to its user guide and code list.
3. Control with your IR Remote Control
To Turn On / Off a Light or Appliance:
1. Aim the remote at the front plate of the Mini Controller.
2. Press the mode key dedicated to HomeAutomation on your remote control.
3. Press the Module’s Unit Code (1-9) on the numeric keypad of your remote control.
4. Press Channel up/ down to turn it on/off on your remote control.

To Dim / Bright a Light:
1. Aim the remote at the front plate of the Mini Controller.
2. Press the mode key dedicated to HomeAutomation on your remote control.
3. Press the Module’s Unit Code (1-9).
4. Press Volume UP/DOWN to bright/dim.
Note: If you use a Marmitek remote, use code 821 of the codebook. To control modules with
unit codes higher than 9, on most X10 remote control you can use the following keys.

5. Control with your Mini Controller
To use the Mini Controller’s Command Center’s control panel:
1. Press and release the on or off side of one of the four number keys corresponding to the
Unit Code set on the Modules to be controlled.
2. To change the light intensity : press on DIM/BRIGTH button (note : this feature works if
your selected lamp is plugged into a "lamp" module)
3. To switch on all the lights : press "ALL LIGHTS ON" button
4. To switch off all the lights and appliances : press "ALL UNITS OFF"
The Selector Switch determines which group of four Unit Codes will be
affected (1-4 or 5-8)..

1. Einleitung
Der Infrarot Mini Controller erlaubt Ihnen die Kontrolle Ihrer Lampen und Geraete vom Sessel aus. Sie
koennen ihn neben Ihrer Hifi Anlage oder neben Ihrem Bett , ganz wie Sie wollen, anbringen. Mit Ihrer
X10 kompatiblen Universal Fernbedienung oder mit Ihrer Funk X10 Fernbedienung oder mittels
Knopfdruck an Ihrem Minicontroller koennen Sie Geraete oder Licht an und ausschalten ohne aufzustehen. Schalten Sie den Radio der Kindern oder das Licht im Kinderzimmer von Ihrem Schlafzimmer
aus aus. Wenn Sie nachts etwas verdaechtiges hoeren koennen Sie das Licht mit einem Knopfdruck
einschalten. Mit Ihrem Infrarot Mini Controller koennen Sie alles elektrische in Ihrem Haus kontrollieren.
Eigenschaften
• erlaubt die Kontrolle von bis zu 8 X10 Modulen (16 mittels Fernbedienung) ueberall in
Ihrem Haus. Schliessen Sie Lampen bzw. Geraete an den dafuer vorgesehenen Modulen an

2. Installation
Der Mini Controller
Die Installation Ihres Mini Controller ist einfach. Gehen Sie wie folgt vor:
1. Waehlen Sie mit Hilfe eines Schraubenziehers einen der 16 Bereiche des Mini Controller
Hauscodes. Waehlen Sie den gleichen Hauscodes den Sie auf den Modulen und der
Fernbedienung eingestellt haben.

Schliessen Sie das Stromkabel an einer 230 VAC-50 Hz Steckdose an Vorbereitung Ihrer
X10 Infrarrot Fernbedienung:
Note: Fuer RF Fernbedienung : Wenn der Mini Controller auf den Haus Code P eingestellt
ist, dann werden alle Befehle der Fernbedienung in ein "Powerline" Signal umgewandelt,
dass dem Signal der Fernbedienung entspricht. Wenn Sie einen der Knoepfe der
Bedieneinheit IR 7243 druecken, wird der Hauscode P uebertragen
Fuer PRONTO Fernbedienung: Wenn der Mini Controller auf den Haus Code P eingestellt
ist, dann werden alle Befehle der Fernbedienung in ein "Powerline" Signal umgewandelt,
dass dem Signal der Fernbedienung entspricht. Wenn Sie einen der Knoepfe der
Bedieneinheit IR 7243 druecken, wird der Hauscode P uebertragen
Um ein X10 Modul zu kontrollieren , muessen Sie den Home Automation Code in Ihre X10
Fernbedienung eingeben. Sie finden diesen im Code Buch Ihrer Fernbedienung. (Gleicher
Ablauf wie bei der Einstellung eines VCR oder SAT ..Codes). Hinweis: Sie muessen einen
Mode Knopf festlegen um diesen Home Automation Code zu kontrollieren.
Fuer eine nicht X10 Fernbedienung schlagen Sie bitte im entsprechenden Handbuch nach.
3. Bedienung mittels IR Fernbedienung
Ein Geraet oder Licht Ein/Aus Schalten:
1. Richten Sie die Fernbedienung auf den Mini Controller.
2. Druecken Sie den ausgewaehlten Mode Knopf fuer Homeautomation auf Ihrer Fernbedienung.
3. Druecken Sie den entsprechenden Unit Knopf des Moduls (1-9) auf Ihrer Fernbedienung.
4. Druecken Sie Channel up/ down um es ein/aus zuschalten
Dimmen der Lichter:
1. Richten Sie die Fernbedienung auf den Mini Controller.
2. Druecken Sie den ausgewaehlten Mode Knopf fuer Homeautomation auf Ihrer Fernbedienung.
3. Druecken Sie den entsprechenden Unit Knopf des Moduls (1-9) auf Ihrer Fernbedienung.
4. Druecken Sie zum Dimmen Volume UP/DOWN.
Hinweis: Wenn Sie eine Marmitek Fernbedienung nutzen, verwenden Sie dann kode 821 aus
dem Kodebook. Fuer die meisten Fernbedienungen gilt zum ein/aus zu schalten bzw zum
dimmen eines Moduls mit Unit Code >9:

Adaptateur: Brancher l’adaptateur secteur sur le réseau électrique seulement après avoir
vérifié que la tension d’alimentation correspond à la valeur indiquée sur les plaques
d’identification. Ne jamais brancher un adaptateur secteur ou un cordon d’alimentation

1. Introduction
Le Mini Controller Infra-Rouge vous permet de contrôler à distance vos luminaires et autres
appareils électriques depuis votre fauteuil. Installez-le à proximité de vos équipements audiovidéo ou dans votre chambre, en fonction de vos besoins. Avec votre Télécommande
Universelle Infrarouge ou RF (compatible X10), ou en appuyant directement sur le clavier de
votre Mini Controller, vous pouvez éteindre votre TV ou vos lumiaires sans avoir à quitter le
comfort de votre siège. Vous pouvez éteindre la radio de votre enfant, la TV et même les
lampes extérieures depuis votre chambre à coucher. En cas de bruit suspect pendant la nuit,
vous pouvez allumer n’importe quelle lumière par un simple clic de télécommande. Avec votre
Mini Controller Infra-Rouge, vous pouvez commander à distance tous les appareils électriques
de votre maison.
Principales caractéristiques
• Permet de contrôler jusqu’à 8 Modules X10 (16 avec une Télécommande Universelle), à
distance, de n’importe quel endroit de votre maison. Il suffit de brancher chaque lampe à
un module "lampe" et chaque appareil à un module "appareil" de X10 .
• Reçoit les commandes infrarouges de votre télécommande
• Transmet des signaux aux modules à travers le réseau électrique de votre maison (Pas de
câblage supplémentaire)

2. Installation
Installation du Mini Controller
L’installation de votre Mini Controller est simple. Suivez la procédure suivante:
1. Grâce à un petit tournevis, sélectionnez une des 16 lettres sur le sélecteur du code
maison, situé en haut à droite du Mini Controller. Choisissez le même Code Maison que
pour les Modules "Appareil"ou "Lampe" ainsi que pour la télécommande.
2. Branchez-le dans une prise 230 Volts - 50 Hz.
Note :
Avec une télécommande RF : si le code "maison" du Mini Controller est "P", alors tous les
ordres provenant d’une télécommande seront transmis au courant porteur, en envoyant le
code "maison" de la télécommande, même différent de P. Si en revanche, vous utilisez le
clavier du Mini Controller, c’est le code maison "P" qui sera transmis.
Pour une télécommande Pronto : Si le code maison du Mini Controller est "P", alors tous
les ordres provenant d’une Pronto seront transmis au courant porteur, par l’envoi du code
"maison" programmé dans l’écran "réglage code maison" de la Pronto, même différent de
"P". Si en revanche, vous utilisez le clavier du Mini Controller, c’est le code maison "P" qui
sera transmis.
Programmation de la Télécommande Infra-Rouge X10
Pour contrôler les appareils X10 à partir de votre télécommande, vous devez préalablement
enregistrer le code Domotique dans votre télécommande X10. Vous pouvez trouver ce code
dans la liste de codes fournie avec votre télécommande. Pour saisir le code, veuillez-vous
réferrer au guide utilisateur de votre télécommande (même procédure que pour programmer
un code VCR, SAT...). Notez que vous devrez dédier une touche mode de votre télécommande
à cette fonction Domotique.
Pour une télécommande autre que X10, reportez-vous à sa liste de codes pour trouver le code
X10 et à son guide utilisateur pour la méthode de programmation.
3. Contrôle avec votre télécommande infra-rouge
Pour allumer / éteindre une lumière ou un appareil
1. Dirigez la télécommande vers la face avant du Mini Controller.
2. Sélectionnez le mode Domotique sur votre Télécommande.
3. Pressez le Code Unité du Module (1-9) que vous désirez contrôler au moyen du clavier
numérique de votre télécommande.
4. Appuyez sur les touches Channel UP/DOWN de la télécommande pour Allumer/Eteindre.
Pour réduire / augmenter l’intensité lumineuse
1. Dirigez la télécommande vers la face avant du Mini Controller

Sélectionnez le mode Domotique sur votre Télécommande.
Sélectionnez le Code Unité du Module (1-9).
Appuyez sur les touches Volume UP/DOWN de la télécommande pour augmenter /
baisser l’intensité lumineuse.
N.B : Quand vous utilisez une télécommande de Marmitek, vous pouvez utiliser code 821.
Pour la plupart des télécommandes X10, pour allumer/éteindre ou faire varier l’intensité d’un
module dont le code unité est supérieur à 9, vous pouvez utiliser les touches suivantes :

4. Contrôle à distance avec votre télécommande radio
Pour allumer / éteindre une lumière ou un appareil
Pressez le code unité du module que vous souhaitez commander (de 1 à 16, en fonction de la
télécommande RF que vous utilisez). Pour cela, utilisez les touches ON / OFF de votre
télécommande.
Pour les télécommandes IR/RF de X10 utilisant la liaison RF :
1. Sélectionnez le mode Domotique sur votre Télécommande.
2. Pressez le Code Unité du Module (1-16) que vous désirez contrôler au moyen du clavier
numérique de votre télécommande.

Om kortsluiting te voorkomen, dient dit product uitsluitend binnenshuis gebruikt te
worden, en alleen in droge ruimten. Stel de componenten niet bloot aan regen of vocht.
Niet naast of vlakbij een bad, zwembad, etc. gebruiken.
Stel de componenten van uw systeem niet bloot aan extreem hoge temperaturen of
sterke lichtbronnen.
Het product nooit openmaken: de apparatuur bevat onderdelen waarop levensgevaarlijke
spanning staat. Laat reparatie of service alleen over aan deskundig personeel.
Bij oneigenlijk gebruik, zelf aangebrachte veranderingen of reparaties, komen alle
garantiebepalingen te vervallen. Marmitek aanvaardt geen productaansprakelijkheid bij
onjuist gebruik van het product of door gebruik anders dan waarvoor het product is
bestemd. Marmitek aanvaardt geen aansprakelijkheid voor volgschade anders dan de
wettelijke productaansprakelijkheid.
Netadapter: Sluit de netadapter pas op het lichtnet aan nadat u hebt gecontroleerd of de
netspanning overeenkomt met de waarde die op de typeplaatjes is aangegeven. Sluit een
netadapter of netsnoer nooit aan wanneer deze beschadigd is. Neem in dat geval contact
op met uw leverancier.
1. Inleiding
Met de Mini Controller kunt u verlichting en apparatuur op afstand bedienen. Plaats de Mini
Controller naast uw TV apparatuur of op uw nachtkastje. Met uw infrarood (X10 compatible)
afstandsbediening, uw X10 HF (hoogfrequent, door vloeren en muren) afstandsbediening of de
toetsen van de Mini Controller, kunt u verlichting en apparatuur in- en uitschakelen zonder uit
uw comfortabele stoel te hoeven komen. Zo kunt u de radio van uw kinderen uitschakelen of
op de slaapkamer uw TV of nachtlampje uitschakelen. Ook kunt u met één druk op de knop
verlichting inschakelen wanneer u ‘s nachts een verdacht geluid hoort.
Eigenschappen :
• Op afstand bedienen van maximaal 8 ‘X-10’ modules (16 via uw afstandsbediening) waar
ook in huis. Lampen en apparaten kunt u aansluiten op ‘Lamp’ en ‘Apparaat’ modules.
• Ontvangt de commando’s van uw afstandsbediening (Infrarood of HF/Hoogfrequent).
• Verstuurt signalen naar Modules over uw lichtnet bekabeling (geen extra bekabeling
nodig).
• Schakelt alles uit met één druk op de knop.
2. Installatie
Mini Controller:
Installatie van uw Mini Controller is eenvoudig. Doorloop de volgende stappen:
1. Met behulp van een kleine schroevendraaier kunt via het HuisCode schroefwieltje, één

van de 16 lettercodes kiezen (A..P). Kies de zelfde lettercode als u heeft ingesteld op uw
modules en afstandsbediening (geldt voor RF afstandsbedieningen en de Philips Pronto).

Steek het netsnoer in een 230VAC~50Hz wandcontactdoos.
N.B.
Bij RF afstandsbedieningen: Wanneer de Mini Controller op HuisCode P staat, dan zullen
alle commando’s van de afstandsbediening omgezet worden in een X-10 signaal op het
lichtnet. De gebruikte HuisCode is hierbij gelijk aan de HuisCode welke is ingesteld op de
afstandsbediening. Wanneer u de toetsen van de Mini Controller indrukt, dan zal de
HuisCode P worden gebruikt.
Bij Philips PRONTO gebruik: Wanneer de Mini Controller op HuisCode P staat, dan zullen
alle commando’s van de Pronto worden omgezet worden in een X-10 signaal op het lichtnet.
De gebruikte HuisCode is hierbij gelijk aan de HuisCode welke is ingesteld in het ‘HouseCode’
scherm van de Pronto. Wanneer u de toetsen van de Mini Controller indrukt, dan zal de
HuisCode P worden gebruikt.
Instellen van uw X10 Infrarood afstandsbediening:
Om X-10 modules te kunnen bedienen, dient u de HomeAutomation IR code op uw X-10
afstandsbediening in te stellen. Deze code treft u aan in het codeboekje van uw
afstandsbediening (zie de gebruiksaanwijzing van de afstandsbediening voor het ingeven van
een code voor VCR, SAT, etc.).
Houdt u er rekening mee dat u één van de mode toetsen van de afstandsbediening moet
toekennen aan deze Home Automation code.
Voor niet X10 afstandsbedieningen dient u de gebruiksaanwijzing en codeboekje van uw
afstandsbediening te raadplegen.
3. Bedienen met behulp van uw Infrarood (IR)
afstandsbediening
Om een lamp of apparaat AAN/UIT te schakelen:
1. Richt de afstandsbediening op de voorzijde van de Mini Controller.
2. Druk op de mode toets van uw afstandbediening welke u heeft toegewezen aan
HomeAutomation.
3. Geef het nummer van de module in via het numeriek toetsenbord (1-9).
4. Druk op Channel +/- om de op de module aangesloten apparatuur aan/uit te schakelen
Om lampen te dimmen:
1. Richt de afstandsbediening op de voorzijde van de Mini Controller.
2. Druk op de mode toets van uw afstandbediening welke u heeft toegewezen aan Home
Automation.

Om alle modules uit te schakelen:
1. Richt de afstandsbediening op de voorzijde van de Mini Controller.
2. Druk op de mode toets van uw afstandbediening welke u heeft toegewezen aan
HomeAutomation.
3. Druk op de MUTE toets van de afstandsbediening.
4. Bedienen met behulp van uw HF
afstandsbediening
Om lampen te dimmen:
Druk op de AAN toets met het nummer dat overeenkomt met de UnitCode van de Module
(1-16) welke u wilt dimmen, gevolgd door DIM of BRIGHT.
Bij X10 IR/RF Universele afstandsbedieningen ingesteld op HF gebruik:
1. Druk op de mode toets van uw afstandbediening welke u heeft toegewezen aan
HomeAutomation.
2. Geef het nummer van de module in via het numeriek toetsenbord (1-16).
3 Druk op Volume +/- om te dimmen.

5. Bediening via de Mini Controller
Bedienen via het toetsenbord van de Mini Controller:
1. Druk op de toets met het nummer dat overeenkomt met de UnitCode van de Module
welke u wilt bedienen. Druk op ON om de moduleAAN te schakelen, druk op OFF om de
Module uit te schakelen.
2. Om de helderheid te regelen: druk op DIM/BRIGHT (deze functie werkt alleen wanneer
de lamp is aangesloten op een ‘Lamp Module’
3. Om ALLE lampen in te schakelen: druk op de ‘ALL LIGHTS ON’ toets
4. Om ALLE modules uit te schakelen: druk op de ‘ALL UNITS OFF’ toets
De keuzeschakelaar bepaald welke groep van vier Unit Codes bestuurd zullen worden door
de toetsen van het toetsenbord (1-4 of 5-8).
