Korath’s Horn of the Wolf Pack is a tribal item that allows its owner to call upon a pack of wolves. It can be used but once per day, at various level of power, and according to the owner’s surroundings at the instant it is blown into. By blowing it once, a pack of 7-12 wild wolves is summoned, and takes 2-5 rounds to arrive by the summoner’s side. If two successive blows are made, a pack of 5-10 dire wolves is summoned in 3-8 rounds. Three successive blows in the horn will summon 3-8 worgs in 4-11 rounds. The wolves will attack any creature(s) the horn owner commands, unless they are wolves or werewolves themselves. Each time the horn is used, it expends one charge, and gives 1% cumulative chance of turning the owner into a werewolf. Also, there is always a 5 % chance that the wolves will be hungry and will attack ANY creature(s) they see when they arrive, except the owner of the Horn.
