1953 : le terme TAE KWON DO apparait officiellement pour la première fois.1961 : Fondation de la fédération coréenne
de TaeKwonDo K.T.A .1969 : Maitre Lee Kwan Young introduit le TaeKwonDo en France
1972 : inauguration du KUKKIWON ( centre mondial du TaeKwonDo).1973 : fondation de la fédération mondiale de
TaeKwonDo W.T.F .1975 : La W.T.F fait son entrée dans la G.A.I.S.F (Générale Association of the International
Fédération) 1988 : Jeux Olympique de Séoul, le TaeKwonDo est choisi comme discipline Olympique de
démonstration.1992 : Jeux Olympique de Barcelone, le TaeKwondo est une nouvelle fois de plus comme discipline
olympique de démonstration.1993 : Michaël Méloul, premier champion du monde Français (New-York)

Olympic discipline demonstration. 1992: Barcelona Olympic Games, TaeKwondo is again more like Olympic
demonstration. 1993: Michael Méloul first French world champion (New York) 1994: The officially became Taekwondo
Olympic discipline. (Paris) 1995: Creation of the FFTDA (French Federation of Taekwondo and Associated Disciplines).
2000: Sydney Olympic Games, the first participation as a formal discipline of the Olympic Games. 1994 : Le TaeKwonDo
devient officiellement discipline Olympique. (Paris) 1995 : Création de la F.F.T.D.A (Fédération Française de TaeKwonDo
et Disciplines Associées). 2000 : Jeux Olympique de Sydney, premiere participation comme discipline officielle des jeux
olympiques.
