Michael D. Aasen
Michael Aasen is the head of the Calgary office Labour and Employment Group. He has an employment and labour relations practice and has
provided strategic advice in a variety of sectors including oil and gas,
industrial, construction and high tech. He has conducted wrongful
dismissal claims on behalf of both employers and employees and has
given termination advice to employers both pre and post termination. He
has appeared before Canada Labour Tribunals and has provided general
employment law advice to employers regarding drug and alcohol policies,
workplace safety and liability for action of employees and independent
contractors.
Erin Viala
An associate in the firm’s litigation department, Erin is building a practice
focused primarily on corporate and commercial litigation matters,
