L’automne: Programme en Bref
Avec cette canicule qui persiste depuis plusieurs semaines, mon
cerveau est ramolli et je suis en panne d’idée!
J’espère que vous passez de bonnes vacances dans le Lot, en
France, en Europe ou dans le monde entier. Oublions un peu nos
soucis et prenons le temps d’admirer de beaux paysages, un
magnifique coucher de soleil, une plage rougie par le soleil
couchant… prenons le temps de rencontrer nos amis, de déguster
avec eux un excellent malbec et de philosopher sur le bonheur
partagé.
Le mois de septembre est bientôt à nos portes et notre association
FGB – Quercy vous a préparé une belle rentrée. Vous trouverez
dans ce bulletin le catalogue des activités, le calendrier des
ateliers, la liste des livres mis à votre disposition, etc.
Je vous informe que j’invite toutes les personnes volontaires pour
la préparation des festivités du 40ème anniversaire de notre
association à une réunion qui se déroulera le vendredi 18
septembre 2015, à 10 heures, salle 22, à la maison des
associations à Cahors. Cette première réunion permettra de faire
une ébauche des actions à programmer, la liste des partenaires
possibles et celle des invités. J’espère que vous serez nombreux!

LE VIN D’HONNEUR
I hope you are enjoying your holidays, in the Lot, In France,
Europe or elsewhere in the world. Forgetting for a while our worries
let’s take the time to admire beautiful countryside, a magnificent
sunset, a beach glowing in the setting sun... let’s take the time to
meet up with friends and to enjoy an excellent Malbec with them,
whilst philosophising on shared happiness.
We shall soon be in September and our association FGB - Quercy
has put together a splendid autumn restart for you. In this bulletin
you’ll find the list of activities, the calendar for the workshops, the
list of new books available in the library, etc.
I am inviting everyone who is willing to help with the preparation of
the festivities to celebrate the 40th anniversary of our association
(next year) to a meeting on Friday 18 September, at 10 am in
Room 22 at the Espace Clément Marot. This first meeting will allow
us to get some ideas for the programme for this event, together
with a list of possible partners and invitees. I hope that many of you
will attend. Thank you in advance and enjoy the rest of your
holidays.

LANGUAGE LEARNING ATELIERS 2015-2016
The new year of language workshop will start Monday September 28th and will run each
week during school terms until June 2016. Workshops are led by volunteer facilitators as a
service to FGB members. There is an annual fee of 30€ per workshop to cover atelier
expenses.
To participate, you must also be a member of FGB Quercy. Membership forms can be
downloaded from the FGB website or requested from the membership secretary, Margaret
York. The annual subscription is 15€ for individuals and 28€ for two people at the same
address.
The workshops scheduled for 2015-2016 are listed below. If you would like to attend a
workshop, please check availability of places by e-mailing the coordinators Claudine
