You will be asked to complete English sentences about Sénégal tourism, geographic or cultural facts. You will be asked to match phrases in French that describe items from the Sénégalist culture with their descriptions and/or definitions. You will be asked to write sentences in English that give facts and details about places and cultural activities in Sénégal. Review the information on the geoculture of Sénégal that is at the beginning of the Chapter in your text. You will need to match the subject with that person’s clothing. Review the vocabulary for clothing and the idioms associated with asking about them and describing them. Reading and Responding: You will be asked to read a letter that is written in French about what students wear in Sénégal. You will then answer some questions in French about that reading. Review the words “D’habitude”, “souvent”, “toujours” so that you are able to make judgments about the “likelihood” of a statement.
