ABSTRACT :
The circulation of counterfeit money from year to year is increasing. This
increase was caused by easy to get information on how to make counterfeit
money on the internet. For that, it is needed a technology that can recognize and
distinguish the counterfeit money. Based on the above case, this final research
discusses how to create applications that can distinguish between original
money and counterfeit money by using edge detection with the canny method as
the method used.
