The Managing Finances in a Difficult Marketplace workshop will provide tools and strategies for Owners and Financial
Managers of small- and medium-size manufacturing and service businesses. Topics discussed will provide the foundation
and lexicon for understanding and interpreting financial statements, demonstrate how to use various financial planning
tools in declining and rebounding market conditions, describe different sources of financing and how to use them
effectively depending on market conditions, and provide step-wise strategies to avoid bankruptcy.

L’atelier sur la gestion financière dans une situation de marché difficile s’adresse aux propriétaires et directeurs financiers
des petites et moyennes entreprises manufacturières et de services et leur fera acquérir des outils et stratégies propices au
moyen des sujets abordés. Des bases à la terminologie, les personnes en arriveront à comprendre et à interpréter les états
financiers, à savoir comment utiliser divers outils de planification financière dans le contexte du marché en déclin et en
reprise, à décrire les différentes sources de financement et à les utiliser efficacement selon les conditions du marché, et à
les doter de stratégies prudentes qui, menées par étapes, feront éviter la faillite.
