132.000 références (All documents available in the library), plus de 7000 fulltext).

The database is produced by many contributors, specialized in public health, among them, the
Ehesp’s library.
468 000 références (Not all the documents are available at the Ehesp’s library but more than 60
000 are availbale online).

Le catalogue des périodiques AtoZ :
More than 18 000 titles, from Ehesp’s subscriptions ;
Be aware : AtoZ is not a bibliographic database. You have to perform your search for a journal’s
title, not for an article’s title
What is it for ? You want to find a journal article from a reading list : first you search the periodical
and know wether it is available or not from the library, lot of them online.
Embargo, what does it mean ?: the online access is restricted by the publisher during a period of
xx months
How to use it :
- Titles allows you to search for a periodical, by the exact title name or only with some words
- You can check wether International journal of epidemiology is available from the library or
not or which periodicals are dealing about epidemiolog* (* = truncation for epidemiology
ou epidemiologie, epidemiologic…).
- Subjects allows you to search for a periodical by a drop-down menu ;
- Search is to be used if you want to perform your search with other criteria such as Issn,
publisher ..
How to read a reference in AtoZ:

the object of contract of license negotiated between the EHESP and the publishers or the
providers. These resources are only to the Authorized Users and in the respect for the
copyright. The failure to respect these clauses during the consultation and during the use of the
complete text engages the responsibility of the EHESP and that of the user. The Documentation

Il s’agit d’un prestataire ayant les droits de diffusion pour de nombreux éditeurs.

Academic Search Premier : This multi-disciplinary database provides full text for more
than 4,600 journals, including full text for nearly 3,900 peer-reviewed titles. PDF backfiles to
1975 or further are available for well over one hundred journals, and searchable cited
references are provided for more than 1,000 titles.

CINAHL : CINAHL Plus® with Full Text is a collection for nursing & allied health journals,
providing full text for more than 770 journals indexed in CINAHL®, with no embargo.
To have access to this information you have to be connected to a computer from Ehesp (in
Rennes or at Paris-Broussais (it works through IP recognition). This does not work through Wifi
connection.

You’ll have to create your personal account / register. (choose your language, save your searches,
set up a journal alert, set up a search alert, save your results in folders…
I advise you to begin by Ebscohost as you’ll find there articles published by Elsevier
(ScienceDirect) or by Sage or by Cairn, Wiley….
Exemple 2 :SCIENCEDIRECT D’ELSEVIER
Access to some 1800 titles(securities) of scientific journals in fulltext since 1995. Only the
periodicals of the publisher Elsevier. You can access fulltext only if you see a green icon.
To have access to this information you have to be connected to a computer from Ehesp (in
Rennes or at Paris-Broussais (it works through IP recognition). This does not work through Wifi
connection

You will receive your personal passwords from Sciendirect when I’ve proceeded your institutional
registration.

You have been assigned a Registration ID for ScienceDirect which allows remote access outside
your institution.
Your Registration ID and Password information is as follows:

Registration Password: xxxxxxxxx
To create a Username and Password for ScienceDirect please enter this information at
http://www.sciencedirect.com/register.
You will be prompted to create a new user profile so you can begin using ScienceDirect

Exemple 3 : SAGE from the publisher of same name
Sage Portal : access to 560 periodicals in the fields of Social sciences, Human sciences,
medicine, health, etc.
