Stingray Digital Group Inc. (“Stingray”) has
asked the Board to put in place a proceeding
leading to the certification of a number of
SOCAN and Re:Sound tariffs in respect of pay
audio services for the years 2010 to 2016. More
specifically, Stingray seeks consideration of the
following tariff proposals:
Stingray Digital Group Inc. (« Stingray ») a
demandé à la Commission de mettre en place un
processus menant à l’homologation de plusieurs
tarifs de la SOCAN et de Ré:Sonne à l’égard des
services sonores payants pour les années 2010 à
2016. Plus spécifiquement, Stingray recherche
l’examen des projets de tarifs suivants :
- SOCAN Pay Audio Services Tariff, 2010,
- Le tarif de la SOCAN à l’égard des services

Stingray requests that the above tariffs be
considered in a consolidated proceeding and that
the proceeding commence as soon as possible,
with the objective of having a hearing before the
end of 2016.
Stingray demande que les tarifs ci-dessus soient
examinés dans le cadre d’un processus consolidé
et que ce processus débute aussi tôt que possible,
l’objectif étant de tenir l’audience avant la fin de
2016.
In addition to the tariffs mentioned by Stingray,
the following should be added in the list for
consideration:

The objectors to the tariffs above are identified in
the table following this notice.
Les opposants aux tarifs mentionnés ci-dessus
sont identifiées dans le tableau suivant cet avis.
Re:Sound’s and most of SOCAN’s tariffs only
target Pay Audio Services. However, SOCAN
Tariff 22.B and its predecessor, 22.2, have
targeted different groups of users over time: Pay
Audio, Commercial Radio, CBC, NonCommercial Radio and Satellite Radio.
Les tarifs de Ré:Sonne et la plupart de ceux de la
SOCAN visent seulement les services sonores
payants. Toutefois, le tarif 22.B de la SOCAN et
son prédécesseur, le tarif 22.2, ont visé dans le
passé différents groupes d’utilisateurs : services
sonores payants, radio commerciale, SRC, radio
non commerciale et radio satellite.
Parties are asked to confirm no later than Friday
November 13, 2015 whether they wish to
maintain their objections to the relevant tariff or
tariffs and in particular whether they wish to
maintain their objection to the specific Pay
Audio sub-component of SOCAN 22.B (or
22.2). Parties who do not respond by the due date
will be deemed to have abandoned their
objection.
Au plus tard le vendredi 13 novembre 2015, les
parties doivent confirmer si elles désirent
maintenir leur opposition au tarif ou aux tarifs
pertinents, et en particulier si elles désirent
maintenir leur opposition à la composante
spécifique du tarif 22.B (ou 22.2) de la SOCAN
à l’égard des services sonores payants. Les
parties qui n’auront pas répondu à la date limite
seront réputées avoir abandonné leur opposition.
At the same date (Friday November 13, 2015),
parties maintaining their objection to any of the
proposed tariffs in respect of Pay Audio Services
can respond to Stingray’s request for a
consolidated proceeding as well as its request for
a hearing before the end of 2016. Stingray can
reply no later than Friday November 20, 2015.
À la même date (vendredi 13 novembre 2015),
les parties qui maintiennent leur opposition à
l’un des tarifs à l’égard des services sonores
payants peuvent répondre à la requête de
Stingray d’examen consolidé et de tenir
l’audience avant la fin de 2016. Stingray peut
répliquer au plus tard le vendredi 20 novembre
2015.
