Sean Jones is an associate in our Environmental Municipal, Expropriation and
Regulatory Group and practices out of our Vancouver office. Sean’s practice focuses on
Aboriginal, regulatory and environmental law.

He regularly advises businesses on consultations with First Nations. He has advised
clients on provincial and federal environmental assessments for proposed LNG projects
in British Columbia. Sean’s experience also includes real estate transactions with First
Nations, Impact Benefit Agreements with First Nations and environmental compliance
issues in the mining sector.
Prior to his career in law, Sean had a career in communications, working for both
industry and government. He was also a faculty member in the Communications
Department at Douglas College for 10 years, and taught communications courses at
BCIT and other post-secondary institutions.
