OMERIN has purchased the TEXPOL® braided insulating sleevings business from the Spanish company
INECSA (Girona).

We are pleased to advise you that on 1st October 2008 the OMERIN group signed for the purchase of the
braided insulating sleevings business from the Spanish company INECSA (Girona). All of the assets have
been transferred to the company TEXPOL® AISLANTES S.L which was created recently and is owned by the
OMERIN group.

This company, set up over a covered surface area of 2,500 m2 in Cassa de la Selva (Girona), Spain, has
manpower of 32. Its business is exclusively devoted to the production and marketing of fibreglass braided
insulating sleevings, treated, impregnated or coated with polyurethane, acrylic and silicon rubber under the
TEXPOL® trademark, designed for classes B, F, H and C. Its up-to-the-minute equipment means it can
boast a production capacity of close to 2 million metres per month. Thanks to this new set-up in Spain,
Omerin bolsters its position as the leading European fibreglass braider.
The insulating sleeving of the OMERIN group (SILIGAINE®, SILITUBE® and TEXPOL®) are designed for
applications in the electromechanical, electrotechnical, household electrical goods, lighting and automotive industry sectors. They complete the 60 000 references of wires and special electric cables that the
OMERIN group produces and distributes in over 100 countries.
