WORLD MISSION SUNDAY/ÉVANGILISATION:
A special collection will take place at the masses of Sunday, Oct. 18 in
support of the Propogation of the Faith. We are all called to be missionaries as Christians as we live our daily lives. Une collecte pour appuyer
l’évangélisation de la foi aura lieu aux messes du dimanche, 18 octobre.
Comme chrétiens, nous sommes tous appelés à être missionaires.

Every Sunday during Mass children are invited to join our liturgy instructors to learn
about our Lord, His Church, His Ways and most of all His love for us. They will be
taught to say prayers, learn about the scripture, saints, Bible stories and make crafts. All children are
invited (approx ages 4 to 10 years), parents may attend with a younger child.

Operation Christmas Child has started. Canadian boxes are destined for Africa and South America.
Last year, our chapel contributed 19 boxes. The shoeboxes are available at the back of the chapel.
Be sure to pick up the instruction leaflet which suggests suitable contents for the box. Do not forget
to include the $7 cash or cheque to Samaritan’s Purse for shipping costs. If you give 2 or more boxes, please write only one cheque with all shipping costs included. The final date for drop-off at the
chapel is Sunday, November 15. Cheques of $15 or more will entitle donor to a tax receipt. Contact
Jeanne Turcotte at 613-531-4879 with any questions.

Amerique du Sud. L’an passé, notre communauté de la chapelle a contribué 19 boîtes . Les boîtes

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS
The Knights of Columbus is an organization of Catholic Gentlemen, serving God
by serving their Church and community. We welcome new members! Council
11886 has a Round Table Group consisting of Knights who belong to this Chapel.
Our mandate is to assist Father with any projects/tasks that he assigns forand the
Chapel. To join and become a new member and carry on this good work, contact our Knights of
Columbus Coordinator for Holy Family Chapel round table, Mr. Scotty Smith (613) 531–6131.
(Candidates must be practicing Catholic men and at least 18 years of age).
