The music of this well known duo radiates the joy of the New England
Contra scene. With Celtic roots, their music interprets traditional and
modern dance melodies with a special New England flair.
Rodney Miller is considered to be the foremost exponent of New England
style fiddling. He has been designated as a “Master Fiddler” by the National
Endowment for the Arts. He has toured the world, and recorded 10 albums
David Surette is one of New England’s finest guitarists. A top player of the
Celtic fingerstyle guitar, his repertoire includes a range from original
compositions to blues, ragtime, and folk music. David is also the head of
the folk department at the Concord Community Music School.

Arts Alliance of Northern New Hampshire’s “Mountain Links: NH Music Traditions” program, and
funded in part by the NH State Council on the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts.
