Housing Informations
Les Résidences Universitaires - Hall Residence
Le CROUS est une organisation indépendante de l’université, qui gère les hébergements des étudiants sur le campus.
Les places sont limitées et ne sont pas accessibles aux étudiants de plus de 28 ans.
The CROUS which is an independent organization, deals with accommodation for students on the Campus.
However places are limited and students aged 28 or over are not entitled to accommodation.

Prévoir une caution comprise entre 165€ et 375€ selon l’hébergement choisi

Kit literie = 2 draps, couverture et oreiller 20€. Prévoir 3.50€ toutes les 2 semaines
Bedding kit = 2 sheets, blanket and pillow, 20€. Sheets may be rented for 3.50€ per fortnight.
Vaisselle non fournie - Cooking ustensils are not provided.
Aides financières - Financial assistance
Vous pouvez bénéficier de l’A.L.S* ou A.P.L **, sous réserve de modification de la loi française si :
You may benefit from the A.L.S or the A.P.L, subjected to be reviewed by French law if :
- vous restez en France au delà de 3 mois - you are staying in France for over 3 months
- vous avez obtenu votre visa long séjour - you have obtained your residence permit
* A.L.S. Aide au logement à caractère Social. A.L.S housing benefit given per month.
** A.P.L. Aide personnalisée au logement. - A.P.L housing benefit given per month
Ces aides ne sont pas payées le 1er mois de séjour en France.

La Caisse d’Allocations Familiales = C.A.F., verse directement l’ALS/APL au CROUS. Vous serez remboursé à la fin du

L’hébergement en famille - accommodation with a French family
250€ à 350€ par mois sans les repas / 250€ or 350€ per month meals not included
L’hébergement comprend la chambre et le petit déjeuner. Certaines familles vous fourniront le linge de toilette et
vous pourrez utiliser la machine à laver. Vous réglerez directement votre loyer à la famille, en début de mois. Celle-ci
vous remettra un « reçu » correspondant au montant perçu pour le service rendu.
The family will provide bed and breakfast accommodation. Some families may provide bathroom towels as well as the use of a washing machine.
You must pay your rent directly to the family, at the beginning of each month. The family should give you a receipt indicating the amount given
for the accommodation.
Les repas du soir peuvent être pris en famille et coûtent environ 5€ par repas.
Evening meals can be taken with the French family and will cost around 5 € per meal.
La maison française typique n’a pas l’air conditionné et comprend en général 3 ou 4 chambres et une salle de bain
pour la famille.
A typical French house does not have air-conditioning and has usually 3 or 4 bedrooms and one bathroom
La Direction des Relations Internationales fera le maximum pour trouver une famille qui corresponde a vos souhaits.
The International Relations Office will do its best to find a host family according to your requests.
L’hébergement en famille demande de la part de tout étudiant étranger un effort particulier afin de s’adapter
pleinement à la vie et aux coutumes françaises.
All foreign students choosing housing with a French family will be expected to make a particular effort in order to comply with French customs
and the local way of life
Afin de faciliter votre intégration dans votre famille française, nous vous recommandons de bien vouloir suivre les
directives suivantes.
For a successful co-habitation with a French family we do recommend that you comply with the following rules
L’étudiant(e) doit tenir compte du mode de vie de la famille et se plier aux règles de vie qui lui auront été expliquées.
The student has to accept the family’s way of live and abide by the rules of the house, which will have been explained to him /her
Informez votre famille /Always inform your family:
de vos absences prolongées - of your plans (going away, etc.)
de votre présence aux repas du soir, la veille pour le lendemain - whether you should be expected for dinner or not the
next day
n’utilisez pas le téléphone personnel de la famille - Do not use their telephone.
