A) DESCRIPTION
Request for the issuance of a regional individual standing offer for the supply and delivery of men’s and
women’s swim suits, on request and as needed, for the Supply and Clothing Section, Technical Services,
2nd Canadian Division Support, St-Jean Garrison, Department of National Defence.
The standing offer will include the following items:

Women’s swimsuits (DND Code no. 21-905-7977)

One piece, scoop neck (see Figure 1), 78% polyamide and 22% spandex.
-Decorative detail below the bust (see Figure 3).
-O-shaped racer back (see Figure 2).
100% polyamide-lined (front from neckline to crotch seam).
-Includes: shelf cupped bra with ¾-in. elastic support.
3-cm wide straps.
Colour:
- navy blue suit
- decorative detail below bust, along the straps and outlining the back opening: cyan
(greenish blue).
“boyshort” leg - starting from the middle of the crotch area for a maximum of 2½- in
length (see Figure 1).
½-in. elastic including silicon band at the thigh (see Figure 3).
Double-stitched overlock seams.
Chlorine-resistant.
(Material must be chlorine resistant during pool usage, the bleach concerns are
when washing the swimming suits).
Plastic hygienic liner.

CERTIFICATIONS AND ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
5.3
TO BE COMPLETED BY SUPPLIERS - AT CLOSING DATE AND HOUR OF SOLICITATION:
The information that figures in this table must be duly completed and submitted at the closing date and
hour of the solicitation
The Offerors must cover all the subjects indicated in the sections below mentioned in order to be
considered.
In order to explain and demonstrate how the supplier meets the requirements of the bid, the suppliers
must complete the right hand column of the tables below with the required information.
If a supplier is unable to demonstrate that their products meet the technical criteria mentioned below, this
will render their bid non-compliant.
Canada will only evaluate the documents that are sent along with the bids submitted by the Offeror.
Canada will not evaluate information that is on a web site address where supplementary information can
be found. Neither will it evaluate instruction manuals or technical brochures that are not sent with the
Offer.
Only the Offers which meet the mandatory criteria will be subject to the financial evaluation. The Offers
that fail to meet all these conditions will be rejected.

Delivery must be completed in accordance to the instructions of the call-up against the Standing Offer
and be made within a maximum delay of 20 working days from receipt of a call-up.
