Par Shivakumar is a paralegal in the Corporate Finance Department of our Vancouver
office. Par assists the Firm’s lawyers with various types of lending files. She has several
years’ experience in the preparation of lending documents and banking-related due
diligence searches and registrations, including dealing with Ship’s Mortgages, Aircraft
Financing and Equipment Finance, as well as regular lending transactions. Par drafts
the closing agenda for lending transactions, conducts due diligence searches, drafts
security and supporting documents, and attends to registrations in the British Columbia
Land Title Office, Ship’s Registry and the Personal Property Registry as appropriate.
She also deals with the receipt and disbursement of loan proceeds, drafts final reports
and opinions, and assembles closing books.
